2 tablespoons butter. cups evaporated milk with cups water. Wash and pare the vegetables, run through the food chopper. Cook until tender in water. When done crush and mash the vegetables.

Potatoes. Milk, evaporated, i as much water as milk. Select the size ham desired. Trim away all rind and outside parts from the cured meat. Plac? in casserole.

Teal and slice potatoes in very thick slices. Surround the ham completely with potatoes, then add 'he milk and water combined until you can easily see the lif.uid through the potatoes, cover and place in a moderate oven.
