Pitt admits that the Covenanters scored a fety, which, in the of the struggle, was called a touch-lack.

The officials who handled the game have deeided that the play was a safety, which entitles Geneva to two points, and the sore will go into the official records as 33 to 2. Coach Glenn S. Warner had his Panther gridders out yesterday afternoon for the first workout of the final week preparation for the game with West Virginia University at Forbes Field lwxt Saturday. The local varsitv came through the game with Geneva on Sat- 9 ginla same. He realizes that the Mountaineers are going: to invade Pittsburgh "loaded for bear," and that they are confident of returning home with a victory.

He also realizes that their confidence is well grounded, and that it is going to take a much better brand of football than the Panthers showed against Geneva to stave the Invaders oitff. Interest in the home inaugural Is greater than anyone anticipated, and it would not be greatly surprised If the big stand at Forbes Field were filled with spectators. Word received from Manager Stansbury of West Virginia last night was to the effect that the sale of tickets, which opened In Mor-gantown yesterday morning had surpassed all expectations. He wanted to know if more tickets could be obtained toward the end of the week if they were necessary. Locally the sale was also large, according to reports from all the agencies, and it is evident that the Pittsburgh public is hungry for football and eager to give the Warner machine the onceover this falL coefccv 6R(og6 Team "ALONG CAME A SPIDER- Happy Fels.h Muffct Threw to a tuffet.
