Page 16 Thursday, January 3, 1957 Westby Pair For Junior High Waldow 40th Weddinn I A new Teen club for Jun ll I A new Y-Teen club for Junior high school girls is being organized at the YWCA, This club will be open to all girls who wish to be Y-Teens but whose schools do not have such an organization, or to any who are not eligible because their school Y-Teen clubs have been forced to limit their membership. The new Y-Teen Club will star; Jan. 7. Meetings will be held at Teenarena. Pat Ganzel, a La Crosse State College student majoring in recreation, is the adviser.

0. Paulsrud officiated at the 8 m. ceremony uniting in marriage Coryl Hendrickson and Ronald Evenstad, Saturday. Dec. 29, at Our Lutheran Church.

Parents of Mr. Waldow were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Waldow, La Crosse. The couple has resided in La Crescent the past 20 years, Mr.

Waldow manager of the La Crescent Lumber and Coal Company. They have two sons. John and Myron, and six grandchildren. 'Y' Nursery School Opens New Season The YWCA sponsored Nursery School for pre-school youngsters will continue during the new year, starting January 7. Plans were made to go on with this service because of the favorable response to the program.

Her hus- and donations of the club included sending of baskets of fruit to club members who were ill; gifts of money to sons in the Navy; Christmas cards and dollar bills to sons ber who wert not in service; 150 magazines and a hundred books given to Tomah VA Hospital, along with 17 pairs of bed socks made for the patients by Emma Morrison, welfare chairman; as sistance in wrapping gifts for patients at Tomah VA by Elsie Barrett, Emma Lenser, Anna George, Hattie Gehrig and Emma Morrison. After the wrapping they were hostesses at a bingo party for wheelchair patients, band, a graduate of Luther Col- awarding prizes and serving ice lege, taught music at Holmen cream and cookies.

Orin Grambo, Eau Clare, and Wanda Anderson, bridesmaids. All were in red velveteen. carrying matching muffs trimmed with holly. Best man for the ceremony was Richard Byom. Groomsmen were Richard Abel and Orin Grambo, and ushering duties were performed by Raymond Anderson and Richard McKeeth, cousins of the couple.

David Readle was organist, and a vocal trio included Mrs. Carroll Bakken, Karen Stevlingson and Karo lee Hogden. A recepion for 250 guests was held in the church parlors. Assistants were Mmes. Robert Manning, John Williamson Leonard Larson, David Todd, Harold Williamson and Roland Gullickson, Alice McGarty, Ramona Alvarez, Carol Felton, Jane Shirley, Marilyn Thomas, Mary Anderson, Harriet Homer, Shirley Ellison, Lois Montgomery, Lynita Rail and Barbara Olson.

Mrs. McKeeth, a graduate of Macalester College, has taught the past three years at West Salem. She is now completing work at this college for her degree in kindergarten work.
