1884, in Norway to Andres and Martha (Andreson) Aagre She came with her parents to New York when a teen-ager She married Rev 0 A Hjemboe. June 1. 1914. and they served Lutheran parishes in northern Minnesota. Helena.

Mont. and for 29 years at St Paul Lutheran Church, Strum She was a member of the ladies society of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Strum Survivors are a son. Rev. Alf Hjemboe of Barron, two daughters.

Mrs. Edmund (Helen) Evenson of Eau Claire and Mrs S. 0. (Thora) Holden of Westby; 12 grandchildren, three grandchildren; and three sisters. Mrs Anna Eide of Strum.

Mrs Gustav (Kirsten) Carlsen of New York. and Mrs Marie Viken in Norway. She was preceded in death by her husband in July 1966 Services will be at 1:30 Monday in Immanuel Lutheran Church. Strum Rev John Baxter will officiate and burial will be in the St Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 p.m.

Room Tax Group OKs Visitor Unit Budget The city's Room Tax Commission Thursday night approved the La Crosse Area Convention and Visitor Bureau's proposed six-month budget. The budget, which runs from July 1 to Dec 31, calls for expenditures of $35,580. according to commission member Dean Millett The commission also rc viewed the disbursement of tax funds, Millett said.

Police said Warren Cornell Scott, 22, Portsmouth was charged with murder and Wayne Christopher Florence, 23, was charged with being an accessory after the fact in the death of hospital corpsman Teri Beth Christianson of Colfax. Wis. Bond was set at $50,000 for Scott, a hospital corpsman, and at $1,000 for Florence, a Navy driver. Police gave no address for Florence. Portsmouth police and agents of the Naval Investigative Service arrested the two men at 2:50 a.m.
