Marvin McMillin is the ninth grade basketball coach and physical education teacher. He is married, has thiee children, and comes with four years of teaching experience. He earned his degree at Indiana State and last year worked toward his doctorate at University of Florida. Glenn Miller is the new and eighth grade coach.

He graduated from Wiley High School and Indiana State. He was well known for his work on the track team. Glenn also teaches biology. Cecil Smith graduated from Garfield High School and Indiana State and served in the Korean War. He begins teaching industrial arts this year after several years in industry.

Mr. Smith teaches at Gerstmeyer in the mornings. The Special Education teacher this year is Beverly Seaney. After graduating from Indiana State in 1960 she worked as a speech therapist at Muscatatuck State School. She taught last year in Greencastle, Ind.

Nancy Bright teaches French and seventh grade English. Large French posters surrounding the walls and sounds of enthusiastic trying of French phrases by budding linguists make all other students envious of this new experience. Mr. Jorritsma displays evidence that the art classes are off to a flying start with the seventh grade sections doing interesting drawings and designs representing the seven basic elements of art. Already the eighth grade sections have completed a fascinating array of mosaic panels using black yarn and colored rice over their own stylized drawings of fruits, flowers, birds and fish.
