There is already some in anticipation of the primaries in May. As time goes on the voter is doing quite a good deal more of thinking for himself than was formerly the case and does not blindly follow and dictations from the bosses or would-be bosses. This does not mean of course that party leadership is not to be recognized and considered when matters of policy or of the are concerned. When we look back over past history in Greene county we recall the bi-ennial charges that and dominated affairs sometimes of one party and sometimes of another and often there were bi-partizan rings.

These partizan rings weie combinations of a few powerful men of the two leading parties who in times past in Greene county had things pretty much their own way.
