The match consisted of five 600 point games at the English style and six 500 point games at 18.2 balk line. The school will hold sessions until May 1, 1915. It is thought that the second year of indoor golf for Decatur enthusiasts will help many players greatly, and that much better scores on the local links will be made next spring when outdoor work is started. MAROONS SHOW SPEED Three-I league magnates will meet In the Palmer house, Chicago, Tuesday and straighten up the 1314 business of the league and elect a president for the ensuing year. Local baseball officials received a letter from President Al Tearney Saturday and he announced the date for the important meeting. Secretary Han-thorn will represent Decatur at the meeting and stated Saturday that he was in favor of going back to the old system whereby the receipts were split and to do away with the flat guarantee which has been in vogue this year.

President Tearney in bis letter stated that the league owed him $2,500, and that several of the clubs had failed to pay their 10 per cent of the receipts to the league. Just which clubs these are is not known by the local officials and in case these clubs fail to pay up at once, they will in all probability be thrown out of the league. Many Changes Before Session. There will be many important things to be considered at the meeting and changes in the circuit will in all probability be made known. It is hard to tell just what the magnates will do in many cases, but all the chances will probably be for the better of the league.

The selection of a president for the coming season will also be one of the Important tasks before the members. President Tearney has announced that he is not a candidate for re-election, but some of the clubs are in favor of him sticking to the leadership. In case he decides to take the office, there is no question but that he will be elected. President Jim Hayes of the Davenport Blue Sox is a candidate for Cliff Booth, professional golf player, who has been golf Instructor at the Decatur Country club during the last year, plans to open his indoor golf school for its second term on December 1. The location of the school rooms has not been decided.

Sessions probably will be held in the location secured last year, in East Wood street. The school was very successful last winter, and it Is hoped to make it as successful this year. Membership is limited to 30. About fifteen have already signed up, with many more planning to do so in a short time. It is thought that there will be no difficulty in securing a complete membership.

J. L. Bennett, one of the best golfers in the Country club ranks, was the man who first conceived the idea of having an in-dor golf school in Decatur, and brought Mr. Booth here last winter. One of Pioneers.

Mr. Booth is one of the pioneers of indoor golf in this country. He was with O'Neill, Naylor and Fovargue when they opened an indoor school in Chicago in 1909. The idea has spread to all parts of the country, and is now an established institution in all cities in which golf links are located.
