Real Estate Market News and Comment Space Situation i Forces Lawyers To Buv Building Blandy, Mooney Shipman Buy in Pine Street When Wall Street Premises Are Asked For bv Trust Co. Blandy, Mooney Shipman, lawyers, have decided to buv a building of their own that they may bo secure from the influences of the space shortage and which prevail in the down? town district. The lawyers have oc? cupied the sixteenth floor of the build? ing nt 3 Wall S-reel since the struct? ure was errected many years ago. Tho Equitable Trust Company owns the building and desiring more space for one of its subsidiarios claimed tho of? fices which the lawyers have occupied. Space conditions in the downtown district wen- explained to the lawyers by William A.

The lawyers in fact were well acquainted with the scarcity of rentable space, and the conclusion that the purchase of a building for their own use was the logical solution of their predica? ment was reached without, much urging on the part of the brokers.
