Monday in Haven Hill Cemetery, Olney. Visitation will be after noon Monday in Summers Funeral Home. Olney. Miss Davis was born i in Olney, daughter of Andrew and Emma Davis. Surviving is her sister, Marilyn C.

Davis of Las Vegas, Nev. Davis Freche TUSCOLA Mrs. Martin W. (Anna M. Naumann) Freche, 80, of Tuscola died 5:15 a.m.

Saturday (Sept.15, 1984) in 1 Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Immanuel Luthern Church, Tuscola. Visitation will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday in Waddington Funeral Home, Tuscola. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday in St. Lucas Cemetery, Chicago. Memorials: Lutheran Hour or the American Cancer Society. She was born in India, daughter of George A. and Helena Naumann.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She married Rev. Martin W. Freche in 1924. He died in 1964.

Surviving are her son, Gerhardt M. of Dover. Mass; daughter, Hildegard Luhrsen of Cissna Park: brothers. Gerhardt Naumann of Corpus Christi, Texas; Otto Naumann of Houston, Texas: George Naumann of York, Gottfried Naumann of Newbury Park. Garren ILLIOPOLIS Mrs. Jesse R. (Mae Knudson) Garren. 85. of Cincinnati.

Ohio, formerly of Illiopolis, died 11:30 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 13, 1984) in Cincinnati. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Illiopolis United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home, Illiopolis. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Illiopolis. Memorials: Illiopolis United Methodist Church. Mrs.

Garren was born in Illinois, daughter of John and Martha Knudson. She was a member of Illiopolis United Methodist Church, Illiopolis Order of the Eastern Star 525 and American Legion Auxiliary Home Bureau. She married Jesse R. Garren in 1921. He died in 1978.

Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. John (Thelma) Graham of Cincin- son of Fayetteville, five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Getz SULLIVAN Mrs. Raymond (Mildred Kuster) Getz, 79, of Sullivan died 7:15 p.m. Friday (Sept.

14, 1984) in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in McMullin Funeral Home, Sullivan, with visitation after noon Tuesday. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Sullivan.

Memorials: Moultrie County Heart Fund. Mrs. Getz was born in Trowbridge, daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Kuster. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Sullivan, and Moultrie County Home Extension. She married Raymond J.

Getz in 1928. Surviving are her husband; son, Charles R. of Gulf Breeze, daughters, Janet Miller of San Jose, Mary M. Fifer of Pesotum; sister, Mary Ryder of Mattoon; eight grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren. One brother and one sister preceded her in death.

Hodgdon LINCOLN Mrs. Frank (Neva F. Charles) Hodgdon, 85, of Lincoln died 3:10 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 15, 1984) in Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Lincoln. Memorials: donor's choice.

Mrs. Hodgdon was born in Decatur, daughter of John and Nancy Charles. She was a retired employee of Lincoln Creamery. She married Frank Hodgdon in 1926. He died in 1944.

Surviving are her sons, Stanley, Norman and Gerald, all of Lincoln; stepson, Donald Lincoln; daughDelores Bergman of Lincoln: brother, Charles Charles of Harco: sister, Dorothy Sahorsky of Lincoln; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Two stepsons, one stepdaughter and two brothers preceded her in death. VANDALIA Lonnie L. Isbell. 78, of Vandalia died 9:20 p.m.

Friday (Sept. 14, 1984) in Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Hohlt Funeral Home, Vandalia. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m.

to 4 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia. Memorials: First United Methodist Church or Fayette County Health Department-Home Health Agencies. Mr.

Isbell was born in Ramsey Township, son of Lewis and Anna Isbell. He was a retired foreman of Macon County Adams Eva Viola Adams. 75, of Mesa. formerly of Decatur. died Monday (Sept.

9, 1984) in her home. The body was cremated. Larry C. Melcher Mortuary, Mesa, was in charge. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Mrs. Adams was born in Decatur. She was a member of the Nazarine Church. Mesa, and a member of the Decaturettes Barber Shop Quartet. Decatur.

Surviving are her son. Robert L. Adams of Riverside; two grandchildren. Duncan Norman Clyde Duncan. 69, of 3450 E.

Orchard St. died 2:22 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 15, 1984) in Danville Veterans Administration Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete at Brintlinger's Pershing Funeral Home.

Filey William T. Filey, 29, of 1279 E. Vanderhoof St. died 9:22 a.m. Saturday (Sept.

15, 1984) in Decatur Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be 8 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Star of Hope Chapel, Graceland Cemetery.

Cemeteries and Funeral Services is in charge. Mr. Filey was born in Chicago, son of William R. and Mary Oglesby Filey. He was a painter for Railway and an Army veteran.

Surviving are his parents of Chicago; brother, James of Decatur: sisters, Diane Carr, Raejean Kopetz and Carol Pipkin, all of Decatur. Knepper Mrs. Ralph F. (Malinda E. Ash) Knepper, 79, of 1387 Wellington Way died 11:28 a.m.

Saturday (Sept. 15, 1984 in St. Mary's Hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Moundford Free Methodist Church with visitation 6 to 8 p.m.

Monday in Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Mrs. Knepper was born in Sumner, daughter of Marion and Martha Ash. She was a member of Moundford Free Methodist Church.

She married Ralph F. Knepper i in 1926. He died in 1973. Surviving are her sons, Osmon F. of Evanston, Ind; V.

Ralph of Zion: daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Betty) Moore of Decatur; brothers, Arvel Ash of Bridgport: Floyd Ash of Sumner; sisters. Mrs. Mason (Geneva) Haynes of McLeansboro: Hazel Waller of Lawrenceville: 11 grandchildren: ninegreat-grandchildren. Eight brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Ira (Lessie Pugh) Lake, 72, of 1653 E. North St. died 10:22 p.m. Friday (Sept.

14, 1984) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete at J.J. Moran Sons Funeral Home. Dr. Arthur Adler, 64, dies Dr.

Arthur A. Adler. 64. of 249 Westdale a long-time Decatur physician, died 3:34 a.m. Saturday (Sept.

15, 1984) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Private family services will be held Tuesday in Star of Hope Mausoleum. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Johnson, Stephen and Shinkle Shoe a member of First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, Vandalia Moose Lodge 1447, a 60-year member of Modern Woodmen of America and served as a Vandalia councilman for eight years. He married Helen Crandall in 1924. Surviving are his wife; sons, Darrel and Tom, both of Vandalia; daughters, Jane Isbell, Mrs.

Ed (Doris) Helm and I Betty Isbell, all of Vandalia; Mrs. Wayne (Donna) Cunningham of Praire Village, Mrs Don (Sue) Musgrave of St. Charles, 10 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren, three great- Kuhns EDGEWOOD Henry J. Kuhns, 81, of Edgewood died 7:15 Saturday (Sept. 15, 1984) in Lutheran Care Center, Altamont.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Anne Catholic Church, Edgewood. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Sunday in Pagel Funeral Home, Edgewood, with 7 p.m.

Knights of Columbus rosary and 8 p.m. parish rosary. Burial will be in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery, Mason. Memorials: Three Corners Ambulance, Edgewood, or American Cancer Society.

Mr. Kuhns was born in Effingham County, son of Samuel and Alice Kuhns. He was a retired carpenter, a member and past trustee of St. Anne Catholic Church, third and fourth degree member of Effingham Council 665 Knights of Columbus, Edgewood Keenagers Club and American Association of Retired Persons. He married Mary A.

Verdeyen in 1924. Surviving are his wife; sons, Darrell and Henry both of Mason; David of Edgewood; daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Wanda) Brockett of Orlando, sisters, Mrs. Wilbur (Ellen) Lahey of Montgomery; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren. Lawson MATTOON Mrs.

George (Gertrude C. Leitch) Lawson, 95, of Mattoon died 5:48 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 15, 1984) in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County. Arrangements are incomplete at Schilling's Funeral Home, Mattoon.

Mrs. Lawson was born in LaFayette Township, Coles County, daughter of Frank and Nancy Leitch. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mattoon, and Mattoon Rebekah Lodge. She married George Lawson. He died in 1968.

Surviving are her daughters, Genevieve Jones of Marjorie Thomas of Montezuma, five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Leturno NEWTON John A. Leturno, 89, of rural Newton died 10:29 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 15 1984) in his home.

Leiva Mrs. Theodore P. (Beatrice Nimhosk) Leiva, 79, of 628 S. Fairview Ave. died 11:15 a.m.

Thursday (Sept. 13. 1984) in St. Mary's Hospital. Services will be 8:30 a.m.

Monday in St. Patrick Catholic Church. No visitation. J.J. Moran Sons Funeral Home is in charge.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Leiva was born in Allegheny, daughter of Peter Paul Mikalina Nimhosk. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

She married Theodore P. Leiva in 1924. He preceded her in death. Surviving are her son, Reynold A. of Duluth, daughter, Augusta C.

Snyder of Chicago; sister, Leonore A. Gatewood of Chicago; one grandchild. One sister preceded her in death. McKeown Ethel I. McKeown, 86, of Montezuma, mother of Charlotte Landholt and Robert McKeown, both of Decatur, died 11:40 a.m.

Saturday (Sept. 15, 1984) in Vermillion County Hospital, Clinton. Ind. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Brown Funeral Home.

Montezuma, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Montezuma. Ritchey Helen Josephine Ritchey, 96, of 438 W. North St.

died 1 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 15, 1984) in Lincoln Manor South Nursing Center. Arrangements are incomplete at Brintlinger's Pershing Funeral Home. Scheen John Scheen, 87, of 1308 Delta Circle died 8:20 a.m.

Friday (Sept. 14, 1984) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Moravian Cemetery, West Salem. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m.

Monday in Brintlinger's Pershing Funeral Home. Mr. Scheen was born in Bly, Netherlands, son of Klaas Johannes and Ekka Jans Scheen. He was a retired shipping clerk for Mueller a member of Central United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 105 and a World War I veteran. He married Gladys Miesenheimer.

She died in 1963. He married Norma E. Henthorn in 1965. She died in 1972. Surviving are his stepsons, Charles Henthorn of Quincy; William Henthorn of Decatur; Howard Henthorn of Baylis; stepdaughter, Mrs.

Amos (Ora) Breuchaud of Oakley; 10 stepgrandchildren. One sister preceded him in death. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Buchanan Funeral Home, Newton, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery, Wheeler, with graveside mili" tary rites. Mr. Leturno was born in Jasper County, son of William and Mary Ellen Leturno. He was a retired master in Wheeler and a former school teacher, a member of Wheeler Methodist Church, Dieterich American Legion and a World War I veteran. He married Stella Sowers in 1917.

Surviving are his wife; son. Denver of Carpentersville; daughters, Mrs. Harvey, (Irene) Fitts of Effingham; Harold (Ruby) Maples of Newton; 13 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren. PANA Mrs. Harry D.

(Norma E. White) Lowe, 63, of Pana died 1: 42 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 15, 1984) in Pana Community Hospital. Services will be 11 a.m.

Tuesday in McCracken Funeral Home, Pana, with visitation 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Pana. Memorials: Pana Community, Hospital or First United Presbyterian Church, Pana. Mrs.

Lowe was born in Taylorville, daughter of James and Clara White. She was a member and elder of First United Presbyterian Church, Pana, former president of United Presbyterian Women, member of Pana Community Development Board, Home and Garden Club, Fort Nightly Club and Pana Community Hospital Auxiliary. She married Harry D. Lowe in 1944. Surviving are her husband; sons, James D.

of Denver, Dr. Larry A. Lowe of Belleville; daughter, Mrs. Fred (Laura) Stone of Springfield; sisters, Mrs. James F.

(Vivian) Favorite of Sarasota, Mrs. R.J. (Myra) Graff of Kankakee; six grandchildren. Manuell George R. Manuell, 63, of Woodridge, formerly of Taylorville, died Friday (Sept.

14, 1984) in Good Samaritan Hospital, Downer's Grove. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Adams-Winterfield Funeral Home, Downer's Grove, with visitation 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be 1 p.m.

Mr. Steinhauer was born in Brownstown, son of Pete and Minnie Steinhauer. He was a retired purchasing agent and a farmer, a member of United Methodist Church, Brownstown, American Legion, Vandalia, and a World War I veteran. He married Maude Cahill in 1950. Surviving are his wife; stepson, Dan Cahill I of Los Angeles, two grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren.

Stone WAPELLA Alfred E. Stone, 74, of Wapella died 7:50 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 15, 1984) in Dr. John Warner Hospital, Clinton.

Arrangements are incomplete at Herington-Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. Sutton CLINTON Tilden D. Sutton. 70. Corrections- The first name of a victim of a fatal hit-and-run accident Wednesday night was incorrectly reported in the Saturday Herald Review.

The man's name is James Murray. A reporter erred. In the obituary of Mrs. Everett (Eileen L. Smith) Howe, 64: of Latham that appeared in the Saturday Herald Review, the last name of her daughter, Mrs.

Kerry (Donna) Denison of Decatur, was misspelled. A newsroom clerk erred. of Clinton died 2:21 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 15, 1984) in Crestview Nursing Home, Clinton.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Herington-Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with visitation after 1 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton. Memorials: Dewitt Cancer Fund.

Mr. Sutton was born in Sully County, South Dakota, son of Thomas and Inez Spencer Sutton. He was a member of First Christian Church, Clinton, VFW Post 454 of Bloomington, and was a WW II Navy veteran. He married Hazel Malcom in 1939. Surviving are his wife; sister, Grace Fairbanks of Spearfish, S.D.

Trexler Lowe VANDALIA Floyd Charles Trexler, 77, of Vandalia died 4:30 p.m. Friday (Sept. 14, 1984) in St. John's Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Hohlt Funeral Home, Vandalia, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Ritter Cemetery, Vandalia.Memorials: Ritter Cemetery Fund in care of Bruce Pruett Mr. Trexler was born in Fayette County, son of Charles and Lena Trexler.

He was formerly a self-employed tire dealer and a member of Temple Baptist Church, Vandalia. He married Evelyn Grace Ritter in 1926. Surviving are his wife; sons, Maurice and Larry Trexler, both of Vandalia; Max Trexler of Pana: brother, Lester Trexler of Bradley; sisters, Pauline Tedrick of Ramsey; Bertha Ritter of Oelwein, Iowa: Mrs. John (Lucille) Headley of Fairfield; 13 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren. LOS ANGELES (AP) The Associated Press reported erroneously Friday that Marvin Pancoast had been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for the murder of model Vicki Morgan.

Pancoast actually was sentenced to 26 years to life. Isbell Lake Dr. Adler was admitted to the Macon County Medical Society in 1948 and began his practice a year later. Before starting his Decatur practice he served as a medical officer for the U.S. Army for about two years.

He received his medical degree from the Loyola Medical School in Chicago. He also served an internship with the Cook County Hospital. Dr. Adler was a member of the Illinois State Medical Society, Westminster Presbyterian Church, former member of the Lions Club and a World War II veteran. Dr.

Adler born in Chicago, son of John and Theresa Adler. He married Sally R. Gaske in 1945. She died in 1980. tal, St.
