Low putt honors went to Mrs. J. W. Greenwood. Class winners were Mrs.

Carl Sekely and Mrs. F. W. Hone, with low putts going to Mrs. William Stevenson.

Mrs. Richard Lawrence and Mrs. Lester Bateman were winners in the Class contest. Mrs. 0.

A. Naragon received low putts. First in the nine-hole play was Mrs. Joseph Merrick and second, Mrs. Arthur Lind.

Low putts went to Mrs. Gus Schuster. MILLVILLE COMMUNITY Club will meet Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Building. The entertainment Committee for the evening will be Eugene Meade and Mr.

and Mrs. Joseph Ruse. Refreshments will be in charge of Mrs. Sam Butch and Mr. and Mrs.

Arlan Coy. Plans will be discussed concerning the refinishing of the inside of the building. Reports will be given by the committee, Harold Leipper, Joseph Henry Long and Kenneth Dunn concerning the cost of the project. FRIENDSHIP Circle will meet on Tuesday at 12:30 p. m.

at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth Rhiel of the Western Reserve Road at New Buffalo for a cover dish dinner. Mrs. Charles Berger MRS. ROBERT KNOCH of RD 2, Salem, entertained the Jo-Cards Club at her home Thursday evening.

Prizes in were awarded to Mrs. Willard Headland Jr. and Mrs. Raymond Pinkerton. Mrs.

Richard Charlton was welcomed into the club as a new member. The members will go to see the Kenley Players in Warren Aug. 3. The Sept. 7 meeting will be held at the home of Mrs.

Carl McCartney Jr. of i Road. THURSDAYETTES met Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Glen McAfee of the Pine Lake Road. Mrs.

Jay McLaughlin, president, conducted the business meeting. Mrs. William Heddleson of Rogers, was a guest. The game was played, with prizes going to Mrs. Heddleson and Mrs.

Lowell Hardy. Mrs. Hardy assisted the hostess with the lunch. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. McLaughlin of the Pine Lake Road July 27.

ONE Luncheon Club met for Thursday luncheon at the home of Mrs. Michael Snell of Ellsworth Road. Game prizes were won by Mrs. Kathryn Minth, Mrs. a ew Baker and Mrs.

Kathryn Gun esch. Garden flowers decorated the home. The next meeting will be held Aug. 1 at the home off Mrs. Kathryn Pauline of Aetna St.

THE BOARD of managers of the Home for Aged Women will meet Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the home of Mrs. Charles Haldi of 985 Highland Ave. MR. AND MRS.

M. L. HAYES of Lemont, 111., spent the past week in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gologram of the Depot Road.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald McConn of Lemont, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hayes, arrived for the weekend and returned home with their parents.

PRACTICAL NURSE Association of Ohio, Division 3, will meet for their 10th anniversary dinner July 18 at 5:30 p.m. at Restaurant in Youngstown. The regular business meeting will follow the program. Cristal Wolfgang Wed To Pfc. Charles Berger Bride at a lovely pink and blue wedding Saturday afternoon at St.

Catholic Church in Lisbon was Miss Christa) Ann Wolfgang, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde C. Wolfgang of Lisbon RD, who was married to Pfc. Charles William Berger, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Robert Pearson of East Liverpool. Rev. William Hohman, pastor, officiated for the double ring ceremony before an altar graced with bouquets of roses and banked with ferns, palms and lighted tapers in candelabra. Miss Mary Jo Klug was at the organ, and Miss Betty Lou McKenna was soloist.

She sang and at Your Feet Is as the bride placed a bouquet on the altar of the Blessed Virgin. The bride was escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her father. She appeared in a slipper-length gown of embroidered tulle, styled with a basque bodice, long tapered sleeves and a circlet neckline accented with scattered sequins on embroidered roses. The bouffant skirt had a cascade back of tiers of tulle edged with scallops of lace. Her veil of silk illusion was held in place by a pearl studded crown.

She carried a white Prayer Book topped with a white orchid, white roses and cascading satin streamers of stephanotis. In observing the tradition of something old, the bride wore an heirloom diamond and sapphire ring, left to her by a great aunt. Mrs. Mary Lou Wolfgang, sister-in-law of the bride, was ma tron of honor. She was gowned in a dusty pink nylon chiffon over taffeta, featuring a French picture collar, fitted bodice and bou ffant skirt.

Her floral headdress of orchids in shade to match her gown and crystals and earrings, the gift of the bride, completed her attire. She carried a colonial bouquet of blue carnations. Bridesmaids, Miss Dixie Lee Cariisie uf Lisbon RD 5, cousin of the bride, and Miss Darlene Wolf gang of New Waterford were dressed identically to the matron of honor, except that they were in blue and carried colonial bou quets of pink carnations and ros es. Serving as junior bridesmaids were Sandra Berger of East Liverpool, sister of the bridegroom, and Nancy Spooner of RD, Lisbon, cousin of the bride, identically dressed as the bridesmaids. Ernest Campbell served as the best man, and Clement J.

Wolfgang, brother of the bride, ushered. The mother of the bride chose a light blue linen dress with lace bodice and white accessories. The bridegroom's mother wore a Sahara brown sheath dress with white accessories, and each complemented their ensembles with corsages of white carnations. Grandparents of the couple present were Mrs. Catherine Gibson of Struthers, Mr.

and Mrs. Clarence Wolfgang of New Waterford, Mr. and Mrs. Harry McCowin and Mrs. Henry Pearson of East Liverpool.

The Elkton Parish Hall was the setting for the reception for 250 guests. The bride's table, laid in white linen, was centered with a four-tier wedding cake decorated with alternating pink and blue rosebuds and white swans separating the layers. Caught to white wedding bells above, blue and white streamers cascaded to the table. Bouquets of roses and daisies added to theme. Serving were Mrs.

James McLaughlin, Mrs. Kenneth Shearer, Miss Carol Simpson and Miss Ginger Beck. Mrs. Walter Lipp. aunt of the bride, registered guests from Vandergrift and Georgetown.

Cumberland, Covina, Fort Worth, Texas, Youngstown, Akron, Struthers, East Liverpool, Salem and Lisbon. Mrs. Berger is a graduate of Beaver Local High School and was employed at the Round Corner clothing store in Lisbon. Her husband attended East Liverpool High and is serving in the Army at Fort Campbell, having returned from service in Korea. Following a wedding trip to an undisclosed destination, the couple will return to the home for the remainder of his leave, after which he will return to camp.

His wife will join him later. For traveling, the bride wore an aqua and white sheath dress and the orchid from her bridal bouquet. Members of the wedding party were feted Friday evening with dinner preceding the rehearsal at th home of Mrs. McLaughlin of RD Lisbon, with Mrs. McLaughlin, the mother, Mrs.

LISBON CHURCH EVENT LISBON Altar and Rosary Society of St. George Catholic Church will have its annual wiener roast for women of the parish at 8:30 tonight on the church grounds. Guilford Guilford met at the home of Bonnie Parks, RD 1, Hanoverton, July 5. Eleven members answered the roll call with the name of their favorite television star. Plans were made for 4-H Revue practice July 13 at 1 p.m.

Hanover Township Club Hanover Township 4-H Club met in the Legion hall in Hanoverton. President Blaine Hagan presided when announcement was made of judging of projects July 13. Safety talks were given by Hagan, Deloris Guthrie and Edwin Brenner, who will compete i safety contest at the Methodist Church in Lisbon July 10.
