Mrs. Tattersall was born in Chicago, daughter of Harry and Modesta Kahn. She married Charles Tattersall in 1937. He died in 1976. Surviving are her sisters, Bettie Parker of Effingham; June Gibson of Tennessee.

Services will be 3 p.m. Friday in Shrader Funeral Home, Arthur, with visit atio 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Shrader Funeral Home, Arthur, with 8:30 p.m. Masonic services. Burial will be in Arthur Cemetery.

Mr. Stone was born in Leitch-field, son of Robert Lee and Josephine Stone. He was a retired welder from Progress Industries, Arthur. He was a member of Masonic Lodge AF AM 825 and Southern Baptist Church. He married Delia England.

She died in 1967. He married Eleanor Brigger-man in 1970. Surviving are his wife; sons, Charles of Michigan City, Hugh of Irving, Texas; daughters, Charlotte East of Sacramento, Carol White of Beecher City; stepsons, Errol Briggerman of Artesia, Joseph Briggerman of Neoga: sisters, Ambie Qutermouse of Leitchfield, Frances Willoughby of Falls of Rough, Nancy Thompson of Elizabethtown, 20 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren. Memorials: New St Anthony Cancer Center, Effingham. Mr. Doedtman was born in Effingham County, son of John and Anna Doedtman. He was former owner of Midway Tavern, Midway. He was a member of St.

Mary's Catholic Church of Green Creek, Holy Name Society, Teu-topolis Knights of Columbus, Sigel American Legion and was a World War II Army veteran. He married Rose Hagen in 1929. Surviving are his wife; sons, Ray and Ambrose "Shorty," both of Effingham; daughters, Louella Schabbing and Eileen Doedtman, both of Effingham; sisters, Irene Niemerg, Minnie Luchtefeld and Mrs. Louis (Clara) Bernhard, all of Effingham; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Two brothers and one grandchild preceded him in death.

Elder MOUNT AUBURN R. Harold Elder; 81, of Mount Auburn died 2: 05 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 9, 1988) in St Mary's Hospital. Services will be 1 pjn.

Friday in Dawson Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Berea Cemetery. Memorials: donor's choice. Mr.

Elder was born in Christian County, son of James A. and Annie M. Elder. He was a retired farmer, member of Berea Christian Church and Anti-Thief Association of Osbernville. He married Ruth Dingman in 1931.

Surviving are his wife; daughter, Mrs. Daniel (TwOa) Campbell of Blue Mound; brother, Cecil of Mount Auburn; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Four brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Foltz JEWETT Mrs. George (Jessie Webb) Foltz, 86, of Jewett died 11:40 p.m.

Monday (Feb. 8, 1988) in Mattoon Health Care Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Bishop Funeral Home, Greenup, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Burial will be in West-lawn Cemetery, Newton. Mrs. Foltz was born in Jasper County, daughter of James H. and Harriett L. Webb.

She was a member of Harmon Chapel Church. She married George Foltz. He died in 1975. Surviving are her son, Neal of Syracuse, N.Y.; two Three brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Hammer EFFINGHAM Mrs.

Elmer (Edna F. Beaumann) Hammer, 81, of Effingham died Wednesday (Feb. 10, 1988) in St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effingham. Services will be 1:30 p.m.

Friday in St. John's Lutheran Church, Effingham. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Johnson Funeral Home, Effingham, and noon until services at the church. Burial will be in St.

John's Cemetery. Mrs. Hammer was born in rural Altamont, daughter of William and Emma Beaumann. She was a member or St. John's Lutheran Church, Effingham.

She married Elmer Hammer in 1926. He died in 1979. Surviving are her daughters, Doris Hammer of Effingham; Mrs. Albert (Lavina) Herrmann of Shumway; brother, Walter Beaumann of Altamont; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren two great-stepgrandchildren. Herrick XENIA Ralph Herrick, 81.

Fredrick (Cecelia M. Schrader) Husmann, 93, of Charleston died 10:20 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 10, 1988) in Charleston Manor. Services will be 11 a.m.

Friday in Caudill-King Funeral Home, Charleston, with visitation 10:30 a.m. until services. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Charleston. Mrs. Husmann was born in Mattoon, daughter of William and Margaret Schrader.

She operated Bowlin's Grocery Store, Charleston. She was a member of Imman-ual Lutheran Church, Charleston. She married Fredrick J. Husmann. He died in 1966.

Surviving are her son, William Bowlin of Charleston; stepsons, H. Husmann of Jersey ville; Fred Husmann of Tennessee; Bill Husmann of Lake of the Ozarks, stepdaughter, Sue Henry of Mount Zion; Peggy of Ohio; one grandchild; five great-grandchildren. One daughter, two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Kensil SHELBYVILLE William V. Kensil, 82, of Shelbyville died 11: 15 p.m.

Tuesday (Feb. 9, 1988) in Carle Foundation Hospital, Ur-bana. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Howe Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials: First Christian Church of Shelbyville or Shelby County Extension Foundation. Mr. Kensil was born in Shelby County, son of William and Gertrude Kensil. He was a retired dairy farmer, founded the West Side Mobile Home Park, near Shelbyville, and was co-founder of the Shelby County Breeders Co-op, later named Southern Illinois Breeders Foundation.

He was a member and elder emeritus of the First Christian Church of Shelbyville, Shelby County Farm Bureau, past board member of Shelby County Airport Board, Shelby County Zoning Appeals Board, Shelby County Extension Council. He married Ruby M. Venters in 1930. Surviving are his wife; sons, Don of Shelbyville; Roger of Menlo Park, sister, Nellie Peek of Shelbyville; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. One son, one brother, two sisters and one grandchild preceded him in death.

Korte ARTHUR Albert Henry Korte, 74, of Arthur died 10:45 ajn. Wednesday (Feb. 10, 1988) in St Mary's Hospital Decatur. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Shrader Funeral Home, Arthur, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m.

Friday. Burial will be in Arthur Cemetery. Memorials: Arthur Home. Mr. Korte was born in Bourbon Township, Douglas County, son of Herman and Anna Korte.

He was retired from the Illinois State Highway Maintenance Division. He was a member of Tuscola Lutheran Church and was a World War Army veteran. Surviving are his brother, Fred of Arthur; sister, Elizabeth Crocker of Oklahoma City, Okla. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Kyle TUSCOLA Vernon Glenn Kyle, 71, of Decatur, formerly of Tuscola and Ellsworth, died 12:03 pjn.

Wednesday (Feb. 10, 1988) in Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind. Arrangements are incomplete at Waddington Funeral Home, Tuscola. Mr. Kyle was born in Shumway, son of Lloyd and Anna Kyle.

He was a retired office manager for the Tuscola Stone Company and member of United Methodist Church. He married Anice White-hurst in 1940. Surviving are his wife; sons, Steve of Ocala, Mike of Decatur; brothers, Don of Springfield; Arch of Joliet; sisters, Dar-lene Rockford of Springfield; Virginia Gleeson of Lexington; five grandchildren. One brother preceded him in death. Ludolph ARCOLA Edna Louise Ludolph, 79, of Areola died 4:30 a.m.

Wednesday (Feb. 10, 1988) in We Care Nursing Facilities, Areola. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Shrader Funeral Home, Areola, with visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in Areola Cemetery.

Miss Ludolph was born in Areola, daughter of John and Emma Ludolph. She was a former secretary and was a member of Areola United Methodist Church. Surviving are her brother, Carl of Charleston; sister, Margaret Ludolph of Chicago. Morris MATTOON Mary Morris, 85, of Mattoon died 11:45 a.m. Wednesday (Feb.

She was a nurse's aide at Hillsboro Hospital She was a member of Wares Grove Church and Ladies' Aid. She married Ralph H. Bowman in 1923. He died in 1945. Surviving are her son, Keith of Boulder, daughters, Mrs.

James (Helen) Brinkman of Hillsboro; Mrs. Harold (Alice) Wil- hams of Edwardsville; Mrs. Ted (Joyce) Dickerson of Rock Island; Lucille Shelton of Boulder, Mrs. Donald (Beverly) Davis of sister, Lois Jones of Litchfield; 32 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren. One daughter, three brothers Jeff Jensen, a winner in the Ida K.
