Mr. Allen reported that the PTA national headquarters were working on a project trying to get priority on steel for new school buildings due to increased enrollment and over-crowded conditions prevailing In most cities. "It is necessary for immediate enlargement in most schools," Mr.

Allen said. The Indiana state PTA scholar ship committee has awarded 33 scholarships of $200 each to students preparing to be teachers, The National PTA Council will be held in 1952 in Indianapolis. Elwood Council voted to partici pate. Mrs. Dllver Delllnger, district director and Mrs.
