WEDNESDAY Of The Southern IUinoisan Driving a school bus is an idea job for a mother with young children, according to Mrs. Vivian Reuscher of Camp-bell Hill. She began driving a school bus as a substitute during the 1337-63 school year and began driving full-time this year. ilrs. Reuscher said the main advantage of the job is its hours.

She leaves home about 7 a.m. and begins her route about 25 minutes later. She is home before 9 a.m. In the afternoon she starts her route about 3:30 and returns home by 5 p.m. With these hours, I am able to be with my children during most of the hours they are home and I am able to help my husband," she said.

Mrs. Reuscher and her husband, Howard, and their four children, Tina, 13, Terry, 12, Tcny, 10, and Ted, 6, live on a driry farm on the northeast edge of Campbell Hill. Mrs. Reuscher said her children do not ride her bus beer: use they attend Campbell Hill Grade School, which is across the highway from their home. The children who ride her bus attend Ava Grade School and Trico High School.

The tall, blonde mother said she had not even thought about driving a school bus, but was asked by school officials to be a substitute driver last school year and was asked again this year to drive ull-time. She said she talked it over with her husband bcth times before accepting the job and he greed that it was an ideal job for her. Her route is CO miles long, P. N. HIRSCH CO.
