Burial will be in the Creal Springs Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today. Mrs. Alsip died at 7:30 a.m.

Thursdaj in the Creal Springs Nursing Home. She was born on July 26, 1899, a daughter of Orin and Elizabeth Burklow Needham. She leaves sons, William Murphy of Bloomingtcn, and Billy Joe Murphy of Marion; daughters, Mrs. Freda Campbell of Marion, Mrs. Shirley Dempsey cf Downey, Calif, and Mrs.

HUDGENS SERVICES SATURDAY Funeral services for Mrs. Maia C. Hudgens, 46, of St. Louis, formerly of Ava, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Ava.

The Rev. James Christoff wiJl officiate. Burial will be in Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Hudgens died Wednesday at St Mary's Hospital in St.

Louis after an illness of two months. she was born in St Louis on June 30, 1924, the daughter of Harmie A. and Golda Worth-en Bower. She was married on Nov. 6, 1953, in Bloomfield, to Ru- fus N.

Hudgens. Mrs. Hudgens was a member of the Gernal Baptist Church in St. Louis. Survivors include her hus band; her parents of Ava; sons, Dennis and Kevin, both of St.

Louis; daughters, Michele and Andrea, both of St. Louis; and a brother, Buddy W. Bower of St. Louis. MRS.

the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Withrow. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Chris I topher. His wife, Hazel, died in 1951.

He was a retired coal miner. He is survived by a son, Wil liam of Christopher; a daughter, Mrs. Eugene Arondelli of Paint ed Post, N. and three grand children. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.

Saturday. SERVICES SATURDAY FOR TILDEN RESIDENT Funeral services will be Sat urday at 2 p.m. at the Lynn-Hill Funeral Home in Tilden for Mrs. Nellie Rody, 63, of Tilden, who died Wednesday in Sparta Community Hospital. The Rev.

Wayne Breckner wil officiate. Burial will be in Tilden Cemetery. Mrs. Rody was born Feb. 8, 1905, in Willisville, the daughter of Fount and Anna Will Clayton.

She was married April 4, 1952, Chester, to George Rody. Survivors include her husband; a son. Gene Svalha of California; brothers, Tom Clay ton of West Virginia and John Clayton of Colorado; sisters, Mrs. Minnie Moody cf Tilden and Mrs. Roberta Tritsch of Kentucky; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Joyner in 1929. She was a member of the First Christian Church of West Frankfort. She is survived by her husband; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dorothy Malone of Benton and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Stevenson of West Nashville, Tcnn.

Flynn said autopsy reports were not complete yet but death was from apparent natural causes. Mr.

Travers, a retired Kroger employe, was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Carbondale. He leaves one James Travers of Pittsburgh, and a sister in Birmingham, Ala. His wife, Rhelda, died in 1959. Funeal services will be held at 10 a.m.

Monday in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. M. B. Haas of ficiating.

Burial will be in Oak land Cemtery. Friends may call at the Van Natta Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Sunday. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Sunday.

MRS. DELLA ARNOLD, JOHNSTON CITY, DIES Mrs. Delia Harris Arnold, 84, of rural Johnston City, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday Umon Hospital, West Frankfort, after a short illness. Mrs.

Arnold was born Feb. 17, 1886, in Williamson County, the daughter of John and Maggie Lauger Huffman. Her first husband, Henry Harris, died in 1918. She was married to Lewis Arnold in 1947. niree daughters and two sons preceded her in death.

She was a member of the No. 6 Liberty Freewill Bap tist east of Johnston City. She is survived by her hus band, Lewis; step daughters, Mrs. Louise Patrick of North Miami Beach, and Mrs. Sally Wall of West Frankfort; step sons, Charles Arnold of Pittsburg, Frank and Ernest Arnold of North Miami Beach, and Ike Arnold of Padu-cah, a sister, Mrs.

Bertie Rogers of rural Jchnston City; and a brother, Willie Huffman of Johnston City. Funeral services will be at p.m. Sunday at the No. 6 Liberty Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. George Flanagan officiating.

Mndred Louden of Owensboro, Ky. MRS. FLORA DILLOW OF ANNA DIES Mrs. Flora Dillow, 77, of Rt. Anna, a life-long resident of Union County, died at 2:05 a.m.

today at Union County Hospital, Anna. Born July 30, 1893 in Union County, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Amanda Hast ings Tripp. On Nov. 2, 1912 she married Roscoe A. Dillow in Jonesboro.

He died Oct. 14, 1970. Mrs. Dillow was a member of Mt. Hebron Presbyterian Church, near Gore ville.

She leaves sons, Paul of Den ver, Carl of Anna, Ralph of Riverton and Charles of San ta Anna, sisters, Mrs. Ella Calhoun of Benton, Mrs. Cora Roberts of Sacramento, Emma Tripp of Makan da, Mrs. Clara Roberts of Fal- on, Nev. and Mrs.

Oma Ogden, 90, of Rt. Carterville, died at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Fountain Nurs ing Home, Carner Mills. She had been in ill health. Mrs.

Ogden was born April 22, 1890, south of Carterville, the daughter of James and Am anda Norris Craig. Her husband, C. F. Ogden, died in 1941. She was a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church, east of Car terville.

She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Daisy Haught of Rt. 1, Carterville, Mrs. Mae Raymond of Southgate, and Myrtle Ogden of Newark, sons, Lester of Rt. 1, Carterville and Howard of Rt.

4, Marion; a grandson, Eugene Haught with the U.S. Navy in Japan; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Riggin Funeral iome, Carterville, with the Rev. Ernest Standerfer officiating.
