A10 Decatur, Illinois, Saturday, October 22, 1983 Obituaries Central Illinois Baker LINCOLN Mrs. Emery (Rosa Pearl Fulk) Baker, 92, of Lincoln died 8:35 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 15, 1983) in Lincoln Christian Nursing Home. Services were held Tuesday, Oct.

18, in Atlanta Christian Church. Burial was in Mount Joy Cemetery, near Atlanta. Quiram Funeral Home, Atlanta, was in charge of services. Mrs. Baker was born in Eminence Township, daughter of Arthur and Mary Fulk.

She was a member of Atlanta Christian Church. She married Emery Baker in 1909. He died in 1964. Surviving are her sons, Charles and Paul, both of Lincoln; James of Morton; Everett of Wapella; Earl of Bloomington; daughter, Ora Mae Purlee of Decatur; half-brother, Ray Fulk of Lincoln; half-sisters, Ruth Mason of Lincoln; Dema Black of Atlanta; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. Three brothers preceded her in death.

Brosam LOVINGTON Orean E. "Doc" Brosam 91, of Lovington died 8:30 a.m. Friday (Oct. 21, 1983) in his home. Services will be 2 p.m.

Sunday in McMullin Funeral Home, Sullivan, wtih visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Coles County. Mr. Brosam was born in Effingham, son of John and Jemima Brosam.

He was a building contractor, a physiotherapist and member of the United Pentecostal Church of Arthur. He married Hattie Caroline Hall in 1912. She died in 1954. Surviving are his sons, Owen E. of Lovington; Orean Macon County Allan BLUE MOUND Mrs.

Lyle (Barbara D. Chapman) Allan, 41, of Shelbyville, formerly of Blue Mound, died 1:18 a.m. Friday (Oct. 21, 1983) in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Ater Funeral Home, Blue Mound, with visitation 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur. Mrs.

Allan was born in Blue Mound, daughter of Kenneth and Jeannette (Alsbury) Chapman. She married Richard Wickline. He died in 1966. She married Lyle Allan in 1970. Surviving are her husband; stepson, Stephen Bart of Shelbyville; mother of Decatur; brothers, Virgil of Lithonia, Richard and Vincent, both of Decatur; Dale of Findlay; sisters, Mrs.

Alex (Norma) Agase of Michigan; Mrs. Edward (Shirley) Weybright and Mrs. Steve (Sue) Whitaker, both of Decatur. Bruner Mrs. William O.

(Viola E. Miller) Bruner, 70, of 2245 E. Olive died 12:35 a.m. Friday (Oct. 21, 1983) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in J.J. Moran Sons Funeral Home, with visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Bruner was born in Forsyth, daughter of Charles and Maggie Miller. She married William 0. Bruner in 1934. Saturday in Mackey Funeral Home, Monticello. Burial will be in Monticello Cemetery. Mr. Cripe was born in Cerro Gordo, son of Alfred and Kathryn Cripe. He was a retired manager for a grocery store.

He married Donna Dean in 1937. She died in 1979. Surviving are his sons, Ben Jr. of Yucaipa, Billy Stickrod and Bob Stickrod of Monticello; daughters, Dorothy Fourtunia of New Orleans, Betty Sebring of Farmer City; sister, Juanita Straham of Florida; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. One grandson preceded him in death.

Grau ALTAMONT Mrs. Frank (Cecelia M. Shab) Grau, 83, of Altamont died 10:10 a.m. Friday (Oct. 21, 1983) in Lutheran Care Center, Altamont.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Kull Funeral Home, Altamont, with visitation 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday with deaths. both of Decatur; Carolyn Sue Black of Irving, Billie Jane Raleigh of Mount Zion; brother, Wilbur Miller of Decatur; 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. One son, one brother, and one sister preceded her in death.

Burcham Charles E. Burcham, 74, of 2471 Hedrick died 5: 24 p.m. Friday (Oct. 21, 1983) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete at Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home, Decatur.

Burns Donald L. Burns, 50, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Decatur, died around 10:30 a.m. Friday (Oct. 21, 1983) in Riverside Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. Services will be 11 a.m.

Monday in Church of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal, Columbus, Ohio. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Schoedinger East Chapel, Columbus, Ohio. Burial will be in Franklin Hill Memory Gardens, rural Columbus, Ohio.

Mr. Burns was born in Decatur, son of Elmer T. and Generva E. Burns. He was a program analyst for District of Columbia Supply Center, Columbus, Ohio, and a Korean War veteran.

He formerly was a member of St. James Catholic Church. He was a member of Church of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal, Columbus, Ohio, and of A.F.G.E. Union. He married Rose T.

Hantle. Surviving are his wife; son, Michael C. of Whitehall, Ohio; daughters, Donna Lynn Pinkerton of Columbus, Ohio; Terry Ann Burns, at home; brothers, Charles of Illinois; Larry of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; sisters, Joyce Van Meter and Diane Putman, both of Kay Goodman of Illinois; Judy Zaprzalka of New Jersey; five grandchildren. Moore died 5:10 p.m. Friday (Oct. 21. 1983) in St. Mary's Hospital.

Grau was born in rural Effingham County, daughter of Valentine and Lulu Shab. She was a buyer for Parker-Parker Department Store, Davenport, Iowa and a member of St. Clare Catholic Church, Altamont. She married Frank Grau. He died in 1968.

Surviving are her nephews; S. W. Roedl of Mason; Curtis Shab of Port Charlette, Fla; nieces, Mrs. Roger (Lulu) Rouleau Sr. of Altamont; Mrs.

M.J. (Maxine) Fisher of Albuquerque, N.M. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. McDonough MARTINSVILLE Mrs. Thomas (Nellie P.

Slack) McDonough, 77, of rural Martinsville died 4:10 p.m. Friday (Oct. 21, 1983) in her home. Mass will be Monday at 10:15 a.m. in St.

Charles Catholic Church, Casey. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Sunday at Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, with 7 p.m. rosary. Burial will be in Mt.

Olivet Cemetery, Denver, Colo. Mrs. McDonough was born in Denver, daughter of Bernard and Nellie Slack. She married Thomas McDonough. He died in 1957.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Paul (Sheila) Stephen of rural Martinsville; stepson Tommy McDonough of Beaverton, sister, Sabina Clark of Denver, four grandchildren. Miller MATTOON Mrs. David Michael (Joyce Elaine Osborn) Miller, 34, of Mattoon died 3:47 p.m. Friday (Oct.

21, 1983) in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County. Arrangements are incomplete at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, Mattoon. Mrs. Miller was born in Mattoon, daughter of Richard and Virginia (Metzler) Osborn. She was a member of Brocton Christian Church, Brocton.

She married David Michael Miller in 1971. Surviving are her husband; son, Nathan Michael at home; parents of Mattoon; brothers, Kenny Osborn of Charleston; Donny Osborn of Mattoon; half-brother, Paul Tucker of Mattoon; sisters, Mrs. Earl (Jean) Eggers of Mattoon; Mrs. Mike (Elisa) Kappelmann of Colorado Springs, grandmother, Martha Metzier of Mattoon. One sister preceded her in death.

Morgan LERNA Quentin E. Morgan, 76, of Lerna died 4:15 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 20, 1983) in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County. Services will be 1 p.m.

Sunday in Barkley Funeral Home, Toledo, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Janesville Cemetery, near Toledo. Mr. Morgan was born in Coles County, son of Fred and Florence Morgan.

He was a retired farmer, and was a member Johnstown United Methodist Church. He married Blanche Ozee in 1928. She died in 1982. Surviving are his son, Michael of Lerna; brother, Joyce of Trilla; sister, Neva Randolph of Mattoon; one grandchild. One brother preceded him in death.

Pruitt MATTOON Goble W. Pruitt, 83, of Mattoon died 10:23 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 20, 1983) in St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effingham.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Broadway Christian Church, Mattoon. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday in Schilling's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dodge Grove Cemetery, Mattoon.

Mr. Pruitt was born in Breckenridge County, Kentucky, son of Luther and Joesphine Pruitt. He was a sexton at Dodge Grove Cemetery and a member of Broadway Christian Church. He married Juanita Sexson Winings in 1949. Surviving are his wife; sons, Warren and Jim, both of Mattoon; Gordon of Westfield; Robert Leroy Winings of Sarasota, Fla; Donald Winings of Mattoon; Larry Winings of Charleston; daughters, Mrs.

Harry (Ethel) Dickinson of Sunset Beach, N.C.; Nadine Sanders of Effingham; Donna Hutton of Tolono; Mrs. William (Mary Ann) Casey of Bremerton, Shirley Price of Danville, Ind; Joan Johnson and Judy Heaton, both of toon; 33 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. One son; four brothers, one sister, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild preceded him in death..
