IN THE HOUSE A shocking accident, the details of which are largely conjecture and will never be known, resulted in the death of the three year old son of Mr. and Mrs.

Charles (Jellir.s, of Alexandria, late Saturday afternoon. The accident was one of the most shocking that has occurred in this vicinity for rcany months. The child had been left alone for a moment by the mother, while she went to a nearby grocery, and in some manner it teems that the child picked up a coal oil can and carried it up to the stove. How it ignited the oil, unless by spilling It over the stove, is unknown, but a neighbor saw flames springing up in the home and rushed into the house and discovered that the carpet and the door casing near the stove burning fiercely, and the child was badly burned about the hands and face. A delivery wagon which was passing, was hailed and th child placd in it and the horse driven in a gallop to a nearby physician in the hope that the little rife might be saved, but it died on the way to the office.

Inhaled Flames. As the flesh burn3 did not appear to cover aVery- large amount of the body, it is presumed that the child inhaled the flames and caused its death. The fire department was called and extinguished the fire with a very small loss to the house and contents. ROBBED REGISTER Thieves Broke Into. Coney Island Restaurant This Morning Soraetinme after two o'clock this morning, thieves broke into the Coney Island restaurant on Main street and opening the cash register, extract ed a small sum of money that had been left there over night The Iden tity of the persons has not yet been definitely established but Clarence Bockover, the proprietor, feels that he has a good idea as to who did the work and charges may be filed wifli- ian short time.

Mr. Bockover left the place abCut two o'clock this morning and it Is thought that the theft was committed by persons famallar with the place as the work had evidently been done by someone who had planned it well. The thieves entered by breaking open one of the rear windows and then worked the combination on the regis ter without trouble. The Searsbuck Brand. GAME BEING CHANGED Anxious parents who have looked upon the game of foot ball with about the same feeling that they would experience were their boys entering a bull tight, will be glad to learn that there is now a liKlihood of the game being changed until it is no more dangerous than bridge whist which after all is not saying a great deal in its favor. A radical change of the game is under advisement by the Inter Collegiate committee at the present time. Ureater safety for the play ers and more variety for the spectators are felt to be eaental if the game is to be permitted fo' live by public opinion. The rules committee which has been meeting in New Yor for the past several days, adjourned day after doing considerable work, tnd it, will again meet to finish this up on March Z-.

In the main, the committee now feels that injuries to players are largely due not so much to mass plays as to savage Accordingly, it is recommended to eliminate the drlvine' tackles: and that a rigid physical examination of all candidates be insisted upon which medical supervisin of all players throughout the season; that buffeting with the shou ders; of ends racing down the Held after the ball, be abol ished, and that the back who receives a punt protected, on the other hand, unnecessary violence by the ends. Only the very gentlest bowel medicine should ever be given except in emergency cases. Ordinary pills, cathartics and purgatives are apt to do more harm than good. They cause griping, nausea and other distressing aftereffects that are frequently health-destroying and a life-lasting annoyance. We personally recommend and guarantee Rexall Orderlies as the safest and most dependable remedy for constipation and associate bowel disorders. We have such baolute faith in trie virtues of remedy that we sell it on our guarantee of money back in every instance where it fails to give entire satisfaction, and we urge all in need of such medicine to try it at our risk.

Rexall Orderlies contain an entirely new ingredient which is odorless, tastless and colorless. As an active agent, it embraces the valuable qualities of the best known intestinal regulator tonics. "Rexall Orderlies are eaten like candy. They are particularly prompt and agreeable in action, may be taken at any time, day or night; do not cause diarrhoea, nauseea, griping, excessive loosnei-s or other undesirable effects. They have a very natural action on the glands and organs with which they come in contact, act as a positive and regulative tonic upon the relaxed muscular coat of the bowel and it dry mucous lining; remove irritation, overcome weakness, tone and strengthen the nerves and musCulfis, and restore the bowels and associate organs to more vigorous and healtb activity.

Rexall Orderlies completely relieve constipation, except when of a surgical character. They also tend to overcome the necessity of constantly taking laxatives to keep the bowels in normal condition. Thre is really no medicine for this purpose bo good as Rexall Orderlies, especially for children, aged nd delicate They are prepared in tablet form, in two sizes of packages: 12 tablets 10 cents, and 36 tablets 2."
