Twenty rushees, all of whom have attained the required scholastic averages necessary to membership in the sorority, will attend. The chapter is located at National University School of Law. Miss Irene Vivian Wright, president of the chapter, wdll receive. Among those expected to attend are Miss Catherine Vaux, international vice president: Mrs. Alice Barry Freer, international recorder; Mrs.

Ruth Moorehead Hildebrand, president of the alumnae chapter; Mrs. Ardis Blackburn, president of Zeta; Miss Mary Lewis Martin, president of Beta, and Mrs. Mabel Benson Sakis, former president of the alumnae chapter and of the Portia Club. Miss Dorothy Dautridge is program chairman, assisted by Miss Florence Benzing, Mrs. Winifred Grant, Mrs.

Emily Stewart Eby, Mrs. Kathryn Swarz and Miss Will Nash Campbell. Officers of the chapter for 1939-40, in addition to Miss Wright, are Kathryn Swarz, vice president: Burmah Miller, secretary; Mabel Ross, chancellor; Lucy Anderson, chaplain, and Lillian Jones, reporter. Mrs. Mabel Walker Willebrandt, honorary president of the sorority; Judge Fav Bentley, Judge Marion Harron.

Judge Lucy Howarth, Miss Pearl McCall and Miss Stella Akin are among members located in Washington. Washington Pilots Will Celebrate The Washington Pilot Club will celebrate "charter Saturday at 6:30 p.m. with a banquet at the A. A. U.

W. clubhouse. Among the speakers will be Representative Caroline O'Day of New York and Mrs. Etha Hall of Greensboro, N. chairman of District 6, which includes the District of Columbia.

An interesting feature on the program will be the formal presentation of the charter by Mrs. Hall, who will be the guest of the club over the week end. Large delegations are expected from Harrisburg, Baltimore, and other clubs in the district. Miss Patricia Collins, attorney With the Department of Justice, formerly of Atlanta, will be to astmis tress. Miss Louise Boynton is president of the Washington Pilot Club, which was organized last spring and now has a membership including many classifications and members who have achieved success in various fields.

Phi Delta Delta To Hear Columnist Washington Alumnae Chapter of Phi Delta Delta legal fraternity will entertain Saturday at 8 m. at the apartment of Mrs. Dorothy Ashby Moncure at the Shoreham Hotel. The guest speaker will be Malvina Lindsey, columnist. Mrs.

Ruth Hildebrand, president of the chapter, will preside. The committee in charge of arrangements includes Mrs. Moncure, chairman; Miss Rosalie Moynaham. Mrs. Elizabeth C.

R. Will Hold Chapter House Card Party Mrs. Henry M. Robert, president general, National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, will head the list of patronesses for the annual Chapter House card party to be given February 6 at 8 p.m. The party will be given for the benefit of the Chapter House fund and will be held in the newly acquired Chapter House at 1732 Massachusetts avenue.

The occasion will be the first formal social event to be given by the D. A. R. in the new Chapter House. Mrs.

Rex H. Rhoades is chairman of the benefit and will be assisted by Mrs. Ashmun Brown, treasurer; Mrs. Grant Chase, tickets; Mrs. Thomas H.

Seay, patronesses; Mrs. Frederick B. Linton, tables; Mrs. Gary Walters, candy, and Mrs. William T.

Clerk, prizes. Mrs. Harry Colfax Grove is president of the Chapter House. Among the patronesses are Mrs. Grace H.

Dutch Treat Dinner Members of the National Board of Management of the Daughters of the American Revolution will attend a Dutch treat dinner tonight at the Mayflower Hotel. Plans for the 49th Continental which will open April 15, will be discussed. Arrangements for the golden jubilee celebration of the society next October also will be outlined at the meeting.

Mrs. Charles Carroll Haig will be in charge of program. Tomorrow the board will meet in an all-day session in Memorial Continental Hall following a brief conference with Mrs. Henry M. Robert, president general.

On Friday members of the board will attend the dedication of Constitution House at Halifax, N. which has been restored and furnished under the supervision of the curator at Williamsburg, Va. There will be a large delegation of State officials, as well as members of the A. at the dedication. The first constitution of North Carolina was written in this house, according to Mrs.

Estes Kefauver of Tennessee and Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Perry of Virginia will be guests of honor at the midwinter aeceptlon and ball of the Southern Society at the Shoreham Hotel Friday evening from 10 to 1 A short reception will be held from 10 to 10:30 the receiving line being headed by Dr.

Robert H. McNeill, president of the society, and Mrs. McNeill. All the officials and members of the boards of the Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia State Societies are invited, as are all the members of Congress and their wives from the South. Mr.

W. Ney Evans. Change in Speakers Mrs. Lydia Van Hagan Van Zandt will address the Club of 'Colonial Dames tomorrow at 10:30 am. Mrs.

Van Zandt will speak on United Policy in the Far Mrs. Georgette Ross Howard, who had originally been scheduled to talk tomorrow, will resume her lectures on February 15 and 29. Smith College Club Will Sponsor Play The Smith College Club of Washington will sponsor the opening performance of His with Cornelia Otis Skinner at the National Theater February 26 for the benefit of the scholarship fund. Brewster is chairman of the Benefit Committee and many prominent Smith College alumnae in Washington and suburbs will assist in making the benefit a success.
