convention in Chicago Tuesday and Wednesday Mr Kerber will receive the society's "Tribute of Appreciation" award in recognition of his "dis tinguished service to the Govern ment and the gray iron foundry as chief of the Pig Iron Section of the War Production Board in Washington He served with the WPB from August 1941 to April 1914 on leave of absence from Hanna urnace Presentation of the award Act "a great harm in the present Mr Ryder said the regional of fice of the NLRB which covers most of the state excepting the metropolitan area has 22 strike votes pending which involve 34
