Teasdale. residing at 10 Sherman avenue, Allegheny, Is one of the most Intelligent e-chanics in the city. For years he has been a close student of our financial system, especially In Its relations to the laboring class- that a system of finance controlled by the bankers is ruinous to those who earn their money by hard, honest toil. He knows that with a single gold standard the bankers can at any time corner the grold and force a bond issue, just as they are doing at present, for the hanks of Pittsburg alone have three million dollars in goid in the-ir vaults, not one dollar of which will thev put into circulation. Mr.

Teasdale will vote for W. J. Bryan, the liberator of the poor. atl all who are kept down by the crushing influences of wealth. In the course of my long and extensive professional experience I have met many curious and Interesting cases; but the long-continued suffering and unsuccess ful efforts of Mr.

Teasuale to regain his health makes his case the most interest- i ing of all. Twenty-five years ago Mr. i Teasdale first noticed the beitinning of his trouble, which for years after blighted his hopes and made life miserable. His disease started in the kidneys in the form of a functional derangement. This produced a change in the chemical of the urine, rendering it very irritatinjr to the mucous membrane lining the bladder.

In time this membrane lieeame congested, which soon led to inflammation of the bladder, usually called cystitis. He was nrw compelled to void r.rin frequently during the day anil night. This produced great pain, and the broken, rest at night greatly debilitated him. Abscesses formed in the walls of the bladder, especially In the neck of the organ, which greatly Interfered with th How of urine. He was doctoring continually, but got no bom-fit from It.

The disease grew worse and he was confined to his hoc for two months. Kvery physician consulted had a different opinion of 1 his case. Xo two could agree, and their 1 treatment only aggravated his suffering. I Spasms of the neck of the bladder wouid occUr, stopping the urine for hours. At 1 one time no urine was voided for 38 hours.

Some of the best surgeons in the i country were consulted, who diagnosed stor.o in the Bladder, nut were unable to verify their opinion by passing an instrument Into the bladder, owing to the. distorted condition of the passage. In this condition Mr. Teasdale suffered on for years, never getting any relief but growing worse all the time. As a result of the pain and suffering' the nervous system became shattered and the stomach extremely sensitive.

Mr. Teasdale furnishes the following statement for publication: Wh-ji I consulted Dr. Shafer I had practically given up all hope of ever getting cured, but as my suffering was agonizing and unbearable, thought I might get some little relief. I had been te.ught by my family doctors to believe that all specialists were fakes." especially if they advertised, but I concluded to Investigate for myself. I found his charges really less than the family doctor's, and as he appeared to understand my case, concluded to try once more.

A more careful and thorough doctor I never met. After a few weeks' treatment I began to improve, which continued until I was satisfied that a cure might he possible. Relief was all I hoped for. but after several weeks" more treatment I realized for the first time in 22 years that I was again a well man. I now believ? that the greatest "fake" on earth is the family doctor who takes your case for treatment when he knows that a specialist understands it better and can give you something in return for your money a thing which he cannot do.

Such at least was my experience. My expenses through sickness, previous to going to lr. Shafer. and for which I had received no henetit. were au follows: octor bills 2Te" bills 2Srt 0" Lost time 5t3 00 Total 0) "It is now over three years since I was cured by Dr.

Shafer. and I am pleased to say that his good work has stood the test of time, and I certainly can recommend him to all. C. TEASDALE." Kindlv remember thst Dr. tehafer is the onlv WATER I 'OCf'OR in Pittsburg, giving special attention to KIDXEY, RLAD-1ER.

have played live games this season, and won only two of them. They must win to-day to save their reputation, and they will isurely play "the frame of their lives." They met W. J. on October 3, and could not get the ball over the line, but they also prevented their opponents from crossing the line. To-day the East lenders will battle desperately against their stronsr adversary.

The same old line thai I faced W. J. on October 3 will be there sgrdn, with the exception of Edwards and Cowles, whose place! will be taken by Lovett and McJunkin. Cowies may oe played at center, but this it not -at ail probable, as Reed is doing- good work there. In the back division Bushman will be missing.

His absence is a great loss to A. C. However, either Hamilton or Frye will take his place at halt Bushman is still laid up. and will hardly be in shape for next Tuesday's big game. Hamilton has played only a part of a game at half back this season, whereas has taken part In three games.

In nil likelihood Frye will be found in Bushman's place. Kobinson, hard to beat, will be in his regular position at half back. Charley Aull will cover the quarter bac position, and give the and Athenen will be at full back. The bo3 are in. excellent trim for the contest, and wiil give the P.
