The new munici pal officers tcoic charge of affairs to-day. Hon, J. C. Brady retired, and Charles Clarke, who has been Erie city comptroller for six years, succeeded him. Mr.

Clarke is well known as the grand re porter for the Grand Lodge, Knights of Honor, of Pennsylvania, since its corpo ration in Pennsylvania. Gustave F.
