MONDAY EVENING, JUNE ll, 1962 FIVE Two of Thirty Historic Sites Are in County Thirty sites in New York in Ulster have been designated by the United States Department of Interior as exceptional value in commemorating the history of the United Part of a federal program to recognize the preservation of historic buildings and sites that will eventualy include thoso in every major historical period, the survey is more than half completed. Nationally recognized historic sites in Southern New York are: Huguenot Street in New' Paltz. All its stone houses antedate the Revolution. Many are open to the public. Hurley, where the main street of the town is lined with stone houses more than two centuries old.
