Dawson. Capt. Scott Reiley Dawson, aged 78, one of the oldest captains on th2 Ohio river, died yesterday in his home at Wilkinsburg. He was born in Warrington, a son of CapU William Thomas Dawson, one of the pioneer river captains. He had navigated the Ohio river since he was aged 21.

He formerly was employed by Brown Co. and the Horner and Roberts Company. He retired in 1318. During his life he was closely associated with Captain William Rodgers. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and of Harbor Lodge No.
