I Chester Griffin FLAGSTAFF Funeral services for Chester A. Griffin, 81. will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Flagstaff Mortuary chapel. Cremation will follow.

Obituaries around the state Grover Wilhite APACHE JUNCTION Grover C. Wilhite, 76, a Detroit restaurant owner before moving here five years ago, died yesterday in Mesa Southside Hospital. Mr. Wilhite, whose address was Box 336, Palo Verde Street, was a member of the Church of God here. He was born in Smithville, Tenn.

Survivors include two sons, Cleve of Detroit and James of Manitou Beach, a daughter, Clara Belle Wilhite of Detroit; three grandchildren; and a brother out of state. Services and burial will be in Sparta, Tenn. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today in Desert View Chapel, 9702 E. Apache Trail.

Carolyn Blehm Mrs. Carolyn Brazil Blehm, 43, the nursing coordinator in the intensive care unit at Good Samaritan Hospital the past 11 years, died of cancer Monday at the hospital. Mrs. Blehm, 3017 N. 21st a registered nurse, came here in 1958 from Sacramento.

She was born in Illinois. Survivors include her husband, Ralph a daughter, Judith Ann Brazil; a son, Alan Brazil, all of Phoenix; her mother, Mrs. Evan Sigworth of Belvidere, N.J.; and two brothers, Herman Heubach of Phoenix and one of Pennsylvania. Services will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow in Mortensen-Kings Funeral Center, 1020 W.

Washington. Cremation will follow. The family suggests contributions to the Carolyn B. Blehm fund at Good Samaritan Hospital. Eleanor Klerner Mrs.

Eleanor Carmita Klerner, 74, a member of the First Presbyterian Church, died yesterday in Village Green Nursing Home. Mrs. Klerner, 37 W. Wilshire Drive, was born in Lordsburg, N.M., and came to Phoenix 42 years ago from El Paso. She was a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Sphinx Court 65, the Daughters of the Nile Chorus and Qadesh Temple 35.

Survivors include two brothers, William Belt of Santa Barbara, and Frank Belt of San Marcos, and a niece, Mrs. Dorothy Christy of San Marcos. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in Memory Lawn Mortuary 719 N. 27th Ave.

Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemelery. The family suggests contributions to the heart fund and cancer research. Harry Ladd WARREN Harry H. Ladd, 75, the Shell Oil distributor the past 44 years at Bisbee, died Monday in Good Samaritan Hospital. He had been a patient in the Phoenix hospital two weeks.

Mr. Ladd, 309 15th Terrace, was born in Denver and had lived in the Bisbee area 56 years. He was a member of Bisbee Masonic Lodge 12, Elks Lodge 671 and Bisbee American Legion Post. He was an Army verteran of World War I. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Jack of Bisbee; and a grandson.

Services will be at 4 p.m. tomorrow in the Dugan Mortuary at Bisbee. Burial will be in Bisbee Memorial Cemetery, A.L. Moore and Sons Mortuary of Phoenix announced. Charles Martin Jr.

SCOTTSDALE Charles A. Martin 48, an appraiser for the Arizona State Highway Department, died of a heart ailment Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Phoenix. Mr. Martin, 5252 N.

Woodmere Fairway, was an Air Force veteran of World War II, had attended the University of Arizona, where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity, and was graduated from Arizona State University in 1952. He was a member of Scottsdale Masonic Lodge 43. Born in Phoenix, he was reared in Tempe and moved to Scottsdale in 1942. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Ellen Martin; and his mother, Mrs. Velma Martin Seaman, all of Scottsdale, and a sister, Mrs.

Frances M. Andrews of Phoenix. Masonic rites will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Carr Mortuary, 26 E. Fifth Tempe.

960 3835 1 I Keli lycruleu 1 JUST. Lol Ruth Mossman, Arizona Ranger founder's widow Mrs. Ruth Mossman, 76, the widow of the founder and first captain of the Arizona Rangers, Burton C. Mossman, Nov. 26 in Roswell, N.M.

Mrs. Mossman had studied voice at the Chicago Conservatory of Music. She married Mr. Mossman in August 1925 at Roswell. He died in 1956.

She had been active in community affairs, serving as president of the Roswell Woman's Club, and secretary of the New Mexico Federation of Woman's Clubs, a member of the Community Concert Association and The State Board of Education and helping to establish the Roswell Museum. She was born in Quanah, and moved to Roswell in 1908. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Risely; three grandchildren, Burton C. Mossman III of Dallas, Mary B.

Riseley and Margaret C. Riseley; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Herr and Mrs. Loraine Johnson, all of Roswell; and a brother, Robert F. Shrader of San Diego.

Services and burial were in Roswell Saturday. Cecilio Rosales GILBERT Cecilio Rosales, 21, an Army veteran of Vietnam, died Monday in Good Samaritan Hospital. He had received a disability discharge in 1968. Mr. Rosales, 207 W.

Second was born in Glendale and lived in Gilbert most of his life. He was a former employe of an El Rancho market. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Rosales three brothers, Willie Manuel an Gilbert; and two sisters, MKARY AND Margaret, all of Gilbert; and a grandmother, Ms.

Mary J. Morillo of Mewa. Rosary will be at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the Rosales home. Mass will be at 9 a.m.

Friday in St. Anne's Catholic Church here. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Phoenix. Mortensen-Kings Funeral Center made arrangements.

Joseph Nelson CHANDLER Joseph L. Nelson, 72, a teacher at the Fort Scott, High School and Junior College before retiring in 1961, died yesterday in Chandler Hospital. Mr. Nelson, 200 E. Ivanhoe, moved to Chandler in 1963 and was a member of the First Baptist Church here.

He was a member of a Masonic lodge in Wellington, the Shrine at Fort Scott, American Legion 50 yers at Fort Scott and a veteran of World War I. He was born in St. Louis. Survivors include his wife, Martha; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Jo Crites of San Antonio; and a son, Dean of Chandier; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three brother and a sister out of state.

Services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in First Baptist Church, Oakland and Washington streets. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet.

Burial will be in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at San Antonio. Eulah Milligan Mrs. Eulah A. Milligan, 59, a former medical technician in Pine Village, died of an apparent heart attack yesterday en route to St.

Joseph's Hospital. Mrs. Milligan, 5310 N. Seventh was a member of North Phoenix Baptist Church. Born in Somerset, she came to Phoenix in 1965 from Pine Village.

Survivors include her husband, Alvin three daughters, Mrs. Dewanna Rubenstein of Phoenix, Mrs. Alma Florence Delgado of Gallup, N.M., and Mrs. Shirley Kochell of Lafayette, two sisters, Mrs. Alma Ross of Phoenix and one of Pine Village; and eight grandchildren.

tomorrow in the Lakeside Latter-day Saints Church, Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery. Mrs. Webb, born in Pacheco, Mexico, in a Mormon colony, and came to Arizona in 1912. She served as president and primary counselor of the Mututal Improvement Associaton here and served a church mission with her husband. She was a Relief Society counselor and president in Navajo County.

Mrs. Webb acted as a midwife before doctors came to the county. Survivors include her husband, Johnathan; six sons, H. Ray of Mesa, Maurice and Juius, both of Snowflake, and Karl, Jay and June, all of Lakeside; four daughters, Mrs. Thora Petersen of Mesa, Mrs.

Gwen Penrod of Lakeside, Zola of California and Mrs. Louise McDowell of Mesa; six brothers and seven sisters; 44 grandchildren and 61 great-grandchildren. The body will ie in state in the Relief Society room from 11 a.m. until service time. Jackson Mortuary, Show Low, is in charge of arrangements.

Marilyn Winter Mrs. Marilyn Winter, 28, who was graduated from the University of Arizona in 1963, where she was the first president of Sigma Delta Tau sorority, died of an illness yesterday in Scottsdale Baptist Hospital. Mrs. Winter, 17417 N. 20th Drive, came to Phoenix nine years ago from her native Port Huron, Mich.

She earned her master's degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Survivors include her husband, Walter; a daughter, Stephenie of Phoenix; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward R. Goldman of Scottsdale; two sister, Mrs.

Louis Gubin of Scottsdale and Mrs. Carl Weinstein of Las Vegas. Services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Grimshaw's Bethany Chapel, 710 W. Bethany Home.

Burial will be in Beth Israel Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Marilyn Winter memorial fund at Temple Beth Israel. Henrietta Bradshaw Services for Mrs. Henrietta Bradshaw, 75, who died Sunday in: Good Samaritan Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. today in Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N.

Hayden, Scottsdale. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery. Mrs. Bradshaw, 3302 E. Clarendon, came to Phoenix in 1945 from her native Indiana.

She was a former stenographer for the First National Bank of Arizona and Staggs-Bilt Homes. She had been a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Hammond, Ind. Survivors include two brothers, Charles Dare of St. Petersburg, and William Dare of Brookville, Ind. Josephine Damiani Mrs.

Josephine Samuelson Damiani, 97, who was born in Sweden and came to Phoenix in 1954 from Chicago, died yesterday in Crestview Convalescent Lodge. Mrs. Damiani resided at 2044 E. Solano. Survivors include two daughter, Mrs.

Raymon Maxey of Phoenix and Mrs. Milton Jacobsen of Sun City; a son, John H. Damiani of Scottsdale; 5 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in A.

L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. Entombment will be in Greenwood Mausoleum. George Spolin Sr.

NOGALES Funeral Mass for George W. Spohn 76, who died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital here, will be at 9 a.m. today in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in the city cemetery with military graveside rites.

A native of Pennsylvania, Mr. Spohn came here in 1936. He was a retired railroad engineer for Southern Pacific Co. and a veteran of World War I. Survivors include a son, George Jr.

of Palmdale, a stepson, Lloyd Logan of Tampa, two daughters, Mrs. Arntando Parada of Panama and Mrs. Edward Bird of Huntsville, a brother and a sister out of state; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 4 Mo, 18 Mr. Griffin, who died Monday at the home of a daughter here, had been with the Bureau of Indian Affairs for nearly 40 years prior to his retirement.
