jgfV -j i.y LECTION day was a holiday for thousands of North Dakota farmers, who watched with the utmost glee the casting of ballots and counting of votes in the rural precincts. The enthusiasm their triumph inspired is reflected in the hundreds of letters which began to flood the Leader offices the day after. There were impromptu celebrations when the vote was counted in practically all the country precincts.
