Thursday, March 6, 1952 IME REFLECTOR (Continued from Page 6) SUCCESS It was success at last for the group of the first semester driver's education class. This was the second try at getting driver's license. The first attempt was made the 16 of Februax-y when Barbaba Luna, Joy Layman, Myra Scott, and Clydean Selman were taken by Mr. Howard in the driver's education car to Sherman. All failed but one, Joy Layman.

The 23rd of February found the same group, except that Shirley Pool was in place. They passed the written test with flying colors. In the driving test, they weren't so good, but they all passed. After a second round of ice cream, they were all ready to go home. The group reached Whitewright around noon, ready to tell the good news to everyone.

The group also saw a beef calf at Pat Several days ago the boys saw Kenneth Marlow's beef calf when they vaccinated some cattle at his farm. Bobby Burchfield has a brood sow and pigs which the group didn't get to see. Donald Lansford has a fine Jersey heifer which the group missed because it was in the pasture. Some of the boys started a project, but, whenever they do, we are sure that they will follow in the footsteps of these who have and some more fine livestock will be D.

Do you suppose someone has said that about you? You say neat, fairly attractive, and well groomed. Very true, of course, but are you pleasant to be with? Your talk betrays you. It will show whether you are a good conversationalist or a bad one. You have to be a female Bob Hope to engage in an ordinary conversation and keep your audience charmed. But what you say and how you say it are the only ways of knowing the you.

Here are a few pointers guaranteed to make you, if not a conversational wizzard overnight, at least an interesting person to talk to: I. First of all, watch the in your speech. Remember, good conversation is a two-way street. not conducting a monologue; trying to exchange ideas with Someone. 2.

Too much slang can rob your speech of poise and dignity. 4. Increasing your vocabulary goes right along with getting rid of the above mentioned expressions. There are a lot of words you yet discovered in the dictionary. Take time to choose your words, and choose good ones.
