greater part of his lite in Harrison and Daviess Counties The glow of cheerfulness was Robert Lee Walker a former Bethany resident who became a captian in the Missouri State Highway pairol died Saturday at his home in St Joseph He was 73 years old Capt Walker was bom at Bethany He served with the Highway Patrol for 35 years and retired in 1962 as commander of Troop headquarters in St Joseph Earlier the Bethany native had held posts in Maryville and Cameron services were held in the afternoon at Miriam Cemetery in Bethany the cost estimated by Associates The mayor also plans to use city crews for the extension of sewer gas and water lines to the property He predicted that the entire job could be accomplished by city crews without the necessity of calling for bids Work is scheduled to
