W. R. Warren, statistical secretary, and made public. Eighteen years ago the annual convention of the Disciples of Christ Pittsburgh. The First church on the North Side contained all the sessions.

Then the delegates were considerably Jess than 1,000. The convention now beiug held is numbered net by hundreds, but by thousands and tens of thousands. All departments of the work show rapid progress. There are 11714 churches, S.752 Bible G.S61 ministers and 3,327,559 communicant's. There are students, enrolled in the Bible schools.

There are sittings in the' churches. The total church valuation is $29,742,244. Ten years ago the Disciples claimed a membership of 1,121,826 members.
