Walton who was scheduled to retire once the sale was finalized will remain on So too will program director Ron Bartlett are already under way for future program ming and enhancement of pro duction said Walton Ollison who recently left her job as a news producer at KHOU TV in Houston could not be reached for comment Walton said that the station is no longer for sale Dollar takes another Germany and rance mounted another effort Wednesday to rescue the dollar but financial markets shrugged it off and continued to batter the US currency The ederal Reserve and the other central banks spent about $2 billion buying dollars ac cording to estimates from cur rency traders The massive dollar buying the first coordinated effort since March 2 had only a short term impact Almost im mediately after it was over the dollar resumed sliding against both the Japanese yen and the German mark In late New York trading the dollar was quoted at 8604 yen down from 8621 late Wednes day and
