A light, but very fast Notre Da rue eleven cuiue out of the West today and gave the Army a nice lesson ia football, winning tn tenth annual encounter between the two schools by wore of 13 to 0. It vas a fast and furious name, replete with savage tackling and rough play for there no love lost between the Cadets and Hoosiers. It was a gamp, too, that kept some 30,000 football-mad people on their feet alniopt constantly.

So rough and fast was the play that by fhe time the fame ended two almost entirely new team3 faced each other in the lowering darkness of Squire Ebbets' ball park. Injuries were and frequent. Heading the card in the country will be the battle of Notre Dame and Princeton at Princeton. Princeton, the opportunist eleven, will enter the fray the under dog. but should have a good chance to win if it gets the breaks. Bucknell and Holy Cross will furnish plenty of opposition for the other members of the Big Three. The Tale Bulldog will engage itself, probably strenuously, subduing the Lewisburg eleven, while Holy Cross should have an even chance of emerging victorious in its annual clash with the Crimson.

Percy Haughton's effect upon the Columbia eleven will get an accurate measuring when his team lines up against old Perm at Franklin Field, while Jock Sutherland will have an easy lime for his Lafayette outfit in meeting Franklin and Marshall at Easton.
