Xli.ss I. Frances Daniel, chief clerk the Fnited States XIarine Hosidtial here, died Wednesday in St. Franfis Hospital. he was born in Platte City, and was a graduate of Gaylord Institute. She lived several years in Kansas City, where she gained a wide reputation in statistical and secretarial work.

She volunteered for overseas service with the American Red Cross, but was assigned the Ordnance Department in Washington. Some time later Miss Daniel was transferred to Pittsburgh. She was a member of the Independence Boulevard Christian Church, Kansas City, and of the Order of Eastern Star. She leaves a brother, F. Daniel of Kansas City.
