Saturday, November 26, 1977 Manilla Thanksgiving Play The first and second grade students at Manilla School presented a Thanksgiving play. Their theme was have nothing but vegetable soup for Thanksgiving Center Lucky-Center Sodbusters 4-H Activities The Center Lucky and Center Sodbusters 4-H Clubs met November 22at 7 p.m. with 85 in attendance at the Mays Elementary School for their Corn and Cake Show. Anita Savilie and Scott Chance led the pledges to the flags and Anita Savilie, Natasha llodson, Michelle Brockman and Angela Schwering led the group in singing. Karmen Addison.

Greensfork, niece of Carl McDaniel, presented the program. She was an IFVE delegate who visited three families in Belgium and she spoke of her experiences showing slides of the country and things of interest to the 4-H members. Awards to 4-H members were also presented at the meeting The following Center Lucky members have completed one year, Kathy Gideon and Nansi Custer; two years, Marka Chance, Natasha Hudson. Tim Cole. Ten Buildings On Candlelight Tour The Second Annual Candlelight Tour of historic buildings in Indianapolis will be held Sunday, December ll. 1977, from 4-9 p.m. All of the ten homes and buildings are located in either the Old Northside or Lockerbie Square. They are: Central Avenue United Methodist, Davis Psychiatric Clinic, Den of Antiquity, Benjamin Harrison Home, Hoosier Salon Art Gallery, Kemper House, Morris-Butler House.

Floyd Dyer. The wedding took place in front of the fireplace in the living room on a light blue rug decorated with four large potted chrysanthemums and blue carnations. John Hamilton, Vanceburg, Ky. gown was egg shell white silk, with lace trimmed bodice. It had a softly gathered round neckline with long sleeves and a three tier gathered skirt. Her fingertip length veil set on a white flowered comb, trimmed with lace on the edges and sprinkled with lace Main of Honor, Miss Shari Dyer, sister of the bride, wore a long beige gown of fine cotton over taffeta, with ecru lace trimming the neckline and the long handkerchief sleeves. She carried an arm bouquet of long stemmed blue and white carnations on fern leaf with long streamers of blue and white ribbon.
