XVILLE SPURTS TO DEFEAT DOVER TIGERS ANNEX COUNTY TITLE; Play Qualifying Round In Tourney Tonight 1,300 SEE HARD FOUGHT TILT The Uhrichsville high Tigers spurted in thr final three minutes at Memorial Hall in Dover last night to defeat, the Dover Crimsons in a thrilling battle which gave the Tigers clean sweep over all seven county opponents this season and dropped the mythical county Class A championship into their lap. Ahead throughout the first half, the Tigers relinquished the lead to a momentarily hot shooting Crimson team at the outset of the third period and fought an uphill battle until the automatic timeout when they drove under the wire on a seven point scoring spree. Big A1 Dunn, whose work at the pivot was excellent during the final half spearheaded the Tiger drive which ended when Bob Tolloty flipped in a one-handed side shot in the last minute to give the winners their four-point edge. The victory was Uhriehsville's 11th in 17 and the loss was i Dover's ninth in 16 starts. A crowd of 1,300 Ians saw the big game torn into tight contest at the opening gun neither team was able to make shots and both concentrated on defensive tar tics.

Dover went scoreless from the field the first period with Paul i Yackey hitting three foul shots and Uhrichsville took a 7-3 lead. Hines and Tom Lynch got for the Tigers, Dunn two fouls and Lynch one. The second period saw the Tigers miss many shots as Dunn got the1 only field goal and a foul shot and Lynch and Tolotty foul shots to make the score 129 at halftime. Tom Hall, Norm Donato an Ken Watson each hit buckets foi Dover. The game showed signs of exploding at the beginning of the third period as Dover dropped In its first three field goal attempts to snatch the lead and oatseored the Tigers 18-10 in the quarter and led 27-72 going Into the final.

Yackey, Donato and Jim Weinsz each dropped in a brace of buckets while Weinsz added two fouls Glenn Dunlap made a bucket anc. foul. The Tigers, who collect. a single foul toss during the period.) made five buckets. Dunn getting two' and Hines, Lynch and Tolloty one apiece.

The Crimsons dropped in 11 of 16 shots while tho winners made only 11 of 23 attempts. Dunn took scoring honors with 19 points while Weinsz led Dover with nine.
