Exchange Stu( ST, JOHN'S, Nfld. — (iP) — "I wasn't scared,!' 18-year- old Marilj^ ^kvhatey isaid in recalling the fire that disabled the: West German cruise ship Seven Seas. But what she did flrtd frightening was the combination of masquerade costumes and life jackets worn by Jent 'Unafrqid' American exchange students after the incident. Some of the students are from Wisconsin. 1 Miss Awbrey, dau^ter of Stuart Awbrey, publisher of the Hutchinson, Kan., News, said the students returning to the United States after a study abroad were prebaring Until After C for a masquerade party when the fire broke out last Saturday. She was aboard the Seven Seas as it docked here Friday after being towed nearly 600 miles across the Atlantic. The Dutch tug lerse Zee (Irish Sea) came to the Seven Seas' ruise Ship Fire aid from the Azores and a U.S. Coiast Guard cutter stood by for most of the trips. Five charter flights will carry the ship's passengers direct from St. John's airport to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. The ship's passengers came ashore right after the ship docked. It had been en route to New York from Rotterdam when the fire broke out. The fire was quickly extinguished after it had damaged the main control panel of the diesel engines. The Seven Seas is to be towed to Halifax, Nova Scotia, for repairs. Negro Leader Joins MADISON — m — Atty. Gen. Bronson La Follette said Saturday that E.
