Lautner, who was expelled from the Red party In 19S0, began testifying at Monday's sesston when the trial was resumed after a weeks recess to permit Lautner to com- plet»> his testimony at a similar trial on the East Coast. Trial Judge Charles J. McNamee overruled two defense motions for a mistrial Monday after defense lawyers claimed that two articles about Lautner endangeretf their defendants' right to a fair trial. Tlie stories appeared in Cleveland newspapers while Lautner was testifying on the East Coast, Judge McNamee .<ipurned the motions after he polled the jury and 'ound that they had not road the f -torie.s. Lautner is the governments 16th witness and it is expected that the prosecution will rest its case wlren ho completes his testimony. Kefauver Sure To Face Adiai WASHINGTON. Dec. 21 (UP) —Sen. Estes Kefauver (D- Tcnn.), has tcntivply decided to challenge Adini E.
