February 9 1969 NEWS LEADER Pep 1-D Of thfc 442 college seniors drafted by the 26 pro clubs 63 players from minority Southern schools were chosen in the first 17 rounds and that number will likely swell triple-fold when the free agent signings are completed this summer Of the 63 southern tan players chosen 34 are from the eight schools that comprise the Southwestern Athletic Conference To be
