KAKSON'S restaurant on Western ave. has re-opened after quite a remodeling program and you are invited to stop hi there to enjoy the fresh new beauty of the place, the same good service as before, and food for which the chef can take a deep bow. Hoars are early 5 a.m. to 3:3* p.m., while OB Fridays and Saturdays the place slays open around the clock. Easter Sunday will be a special day there and you will be welcome with or without reservations. Easter Sunday will be celebrated at Field's supper club with moderate price dinners served all day in the handsome coffee shop and luxury dining. Spike and Dean Gofis, owners of the place, invite you to make reservations early. More good news is that the Irish Show Band has returned, and Brendan Bayer and his big show will be performing in two shows a night, Tuesday through Sun- Jay until April 24. Then Buck Owens of "Hee Haw" fame wlh* open a one-week run there on Monday, April 25 through Sunday, two shows a night, tickets J12.50 to $20.00. Then Phyllis Diller will bring her zany comedy routines there May 3 through 8 SABRE ROOM presents a big floor show every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday plus special shows with such luminaries as Prank Sinatra, Johnny Carson, Liberace, Telly Sa- valas, Tony Bennett, and in June will have Danny Thomas for three smash nights. Tonight it will have Woody Herman and his band, and April 21 it will present Stan Kenton and his band. Next month it will again have singer John Gary for six big nights. But right now most thoughts are on Easter and dining out on that happy day, and host Muzzle invites you to enjoy the day with a basket of goodies for the youngsters, and there will be a special dinner menu and a special show.
