These news items appear in the first issue of The Spokeswoman* a national newsletter for women. The twice-monthly newsletter published by the Urban Research Corporation of Chicago will cover legislation on equal pay and discrimination child care; court cases on equal pay and discriminztion In education; actions by women's liberation groups: and women's caucuses in religious bodies, political parties and professional associations. Activities of women's organizations are reported, including the nationwide strike planned by the National Organization for Women, the talent bank of Business and Professional Women and the free health care clinic planned by the Chicago Women's Liberation Union. Edited by Susan Davis, the magazine costs $6 a year from Urban Research Corporation. Dr. and Mrs. Sloan Davis Robertson, 722 W.
