War oi sexes in Australia Massive drive starts early., survey shows MELBOURNE (AP) - The war of the sexes starts early in Australia, according to a survey recently completed in schools here. "Affiliation with the opposite sex" rates just about last for 10-year-olds: for girls 82nd place on the interest list and for boys 43rd on the interest list. At this age boys place the girls ninth behind sports, adventure and thrills, outdoor life, cartoons-comics-humor, self-propelled vehicles, football, science and reading.
