EDITIONS Board to meet informally The M a r i c o p a County Board of Supervisors will begin weekly informal meetings beginning July 1, chairman J. Robert Stark said yesterday. The sessions, open to the press, will be held at 10 a.m. each Wednesday in the sixth floor conference room of the County Administration Building, 111 S. Third Ave. Formal board meetings are held at 10 a.m. Mondays in the Supervisors Auditorium, 201 W. Jefferson. The purpose of the informal meetings, Stark explained, is principally for the benefit of the press. " It is necessary," he said, "to hold informal sessions to discuss matters not on the formal agenda. We feel that a regular sitting once a week will make it even easier for the press to attend. This is consistent with our philosophy that the public has a right to know what is happening in county government." HODGSON ENDORSED WASHINGTON (UPI) The nomination of James D. Hodgson to be new labor secretary was approved by the Senate Labor Committee Tuesday and sent to the Senate floor. •fc- ; X:v' Look what Wards has for Dad!: VALET CONVERTS TO CHAIR, YOU SAVE $ 2 TODAY 13 REGULARLY 15.99 Dad will love its looks, you'll love the low price!
