This is the official preliminary to "Miss Illinois" and "Miss America" pageants, held later in the year. The "Miss Illinois" pageant will be May 23, at Qulncy. Alan Rlehl will be master of ceremonies, during which the candidates will receive gift certificates and prizes. Entrants will be Judged on their poise, personality, talent and appearance, .and names of judges will be announced just prior to the showing.
