Mrs. Julia Wright, 81, of 1216 Sixteenth st., West Des Moines, died Saturday morning at Hiitchinson's Nursing Home of complications following a lengthy illness. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Rural Mail Carriers and "the Presbyterian Church. * Services are pending at Phillips Mortuary, Eldon, Mo., With burial to be at Tuscumbia, Mo. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Patricia W. McCommpns Park Business Men's Club, the Dowling Club and the All Saints Holy Name Society. Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn 0. Chancellor and Dorothy Sutherland, both of Des Moines; two brothers, Charles and Albert, both of Williams; and five grandchildren. A rosary will be recited at 8, p.m. Monday at Caldwell-Brien- ! Mr. McMahon was born in M a s s e n a. He had lived at 1237 Twenty- second st. since his retirement from farming five years ago. He is survived by a son, Phillip. Des Moines; a brother, Tom, Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, -Mrs. Etta Hearin, Des M o i nV&x, and three grandchildren arid-two great-grandchildren. EMERY RUBY \ Graveside services for Erhery Ruby, 97, of 1701 Forty-sixth" st., who died Friday at Baptist Memorial Home in Harlan, will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Masonic Cemetery. Born at Wilsonville, Mr. Ruby, retired in 1942 from his job as secretary at National Travelers Life Insurance Co. He was a member of the University Christian Church. Mr. Ruby was a Mason and a member of Scottish Rites, Eastern Star and Za-Ga-Zig Shrine. Jle attended Iowa State Teachers College and graduated from Drake University. Survivors include a son, Robert of Houston, Tex., four grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. grand- MRS. BERTHA JACKSON Mrs. Bertha Jackson,- 81, of the Rest View Good Samaritan Center, died there Saturday of a heart ailment. Mrs. Jackson was a native of Anamosa and was a retired maid.lshe was a member of the Muscatine Methodist Church and had lived in Des Moines eight months.
