The nonpartisan convention method which has been successful in two previous attempts to fill Board of Education vacancies with its nominees gave Mrs. Hilberg the highest number of votes, 152 out of 226 delegates. The delegates to the convention were from civic associations, PTA's and other citizens groups. ft is not necessary to receive the endorsement of the convention to file as a candidate and several of the unsuccessful candidates Saturday indicate they would try to collect the 500 voter's signatures and file anyway. If more than eight candidates file the field will be narrowed to eight in the primaries and then the voters will select the final four in the general election in November. Police Seek Four Center Fugitives MOKGANTOwX W. Va. - Four youths who walked away from the Robert F. Kennedy Youth Center here late Saturday night were still at large Sunday night and described as "potentially dangerous." Authorities said the four escaped from the federal detention center and broke into a mobile home in Morgantown, stealing two loaded pistols. $40 in cash and some clothing. Police believe the youths were involved in the theft of a car not far from the mobile home.
