Dec 30.--Bombs aimed at uila in widely scattered ciile* of the East today, brought death to two clerlts in the Easton poiwffice and ser- injuries to a number of other persons. Seven packages were mailed to addresses in New Yorfc City. PUUburgh and Baltimore and when they came under suspicion two o! them exploded while undergoing examinatun. Two were addressed to foreign conculatea. Mailed By Two Mm The packages were mailed early In the day by two yoarg men described foreigners. Although they seemed to be in a hurry they argued with a clerk orer the value of the package*. t paid the necessary postage and hurried away. Becoming suspicious as to their can- teals a clerk employed in the parcel division of the postoffice decided :o examine them. He had just opened one of the packages when it let go. causing a second one to also explode.
