Hayes park, 2930 W 85th ati, at 1:30 S p.m. Sunday, Aprils. The single-story field- house and gymnasium annex was designed by award winning park district architects and built by the Lombard Construction Co. at a cost of 1843,457. The fieldhouse contains staff offices and locker and shower facilities to serve the gymnasium, a kitchen,^ two multi-purpose rooms, a games room, a craft shop and a club room. The gymnasium, which measures 66 feet by 95 feet, contains two sets of folding bleachers, and is dividable by means of an electrically- operated partition. An agreement reached between the park district and the city's bureau of streets has designated certain areas of adjacent Whipple st. and Francisco st. as service drives, allowing peripheral parking for the park without taking up valuable space. The site, formerly known as Ashburn-Carroll park, was renamed by the district.
