Murio, all of San Francisco A December wedding is planned. Miss Yamamoto, a medical receptionist, was graduated from Grand View College and attended the University of Iowa Iowa City. Mr. Murio received his degree from San Jose (Calif.) State College and will begin active duty with the Air Force in September. Miss Whinery. Weds Weddings, Engagements Janet Whinery, daughter of Mrs. James C. Whinery, 1-147 Fifty-seventh st., and of the late Mr. Whinery, became the bride of Jock Evan Thomp- Mrs. Jock Thompson son, of Cleveland, Ohio. Saturday at Westminster United Presbyterian Church. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Thompson of Hampton. The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, George L. Whinery. A reception followed at the home of the bride's mother. The couple will live in Cleveland, where Mr. Thompson, an architect, is employed by the Hannan Co. Mrs. Thompson is a graduate of Iowa State University. Ames, and received her master's degree from Oregon State University at Corvallis. She is a member of Delta Zeta sorority, Sigma Alpha Iota professional music sorority and Alpha Lambda Delta scholastic honor society. She had been employed in St. Louis, Mo., by McDonnell Douglas Corp. Her husband also is an Iowa Stale graduate.
