Hibbard Lodge are requested to meet at the Masonic Hall tonight at 8 p.m. to go to the Warner funeral home to pay their respects to the late Fred E. Hartman. CBS Class Entertained BRIGHTON — Mrs. Mary Gangloff entertained members of the CBS Class of the Presbyterian Sunday School at her home Friday afternoon. Mrs. A. A. Moehle presided at the business meeting. Mrs. Catherine Boker was devotional leader and during the study period the group reviewed the book "The Minister of Carthage" and also had a Bible quiz. Refreshments were served by the hostess. OES To Meet BRIGHTON — The local chapter Order of Eastern Star will meet Tuesday evening in the Masonic Hall. All members are urged to attend. Class Play Well Attended BRIGHTON — Considering the very unseasonable weather, the senior class play presented Friday evening in the Brighton High School gymnasium, was well attended. - The cast gave a good performance and provided plenty of laughs for the audience. Between acts there was a piano solo by Kathryn McAfee and vocal solo by Beverly v Schelm, accompanied by Miss McAfee. Gifts were presented to the senior class sponsors, Mrs. Marie McAfee and Harold Knapp, principal. The gift to Mrs. McAfee was also in appreciation of the work done by her directing the play. Brighton Notes BRIGHTON — Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hays and son of Springfield visited Sunday with George E. Hays and Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Meacham. Mr. Meacham has been confined to his home sevei-al weeks sutf er- \ ing from influenza and arthritis. Mrs. J. T. Meacham, who has had an infection in her hand, is now improving. Miss Georgia Lou St. Cin, who has been visiting her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. J. C.
