(AP) The popular averages took another beating Friday as the stock market skidded lower in a session that carried the Dow Jones industrial average to the lowest it has been since January, 1967. The Dow moved up fractionally in the first half-hour of trading, but was off 8.47 at -fa 818.06, the lowest since Jan. 10, 1967.
