Airy, have announced the birth of a son, Dougias Carlton, Oct. 9 at the Montgomery County General Hospital. Mrs. Van Sant is the former Jean A. Wilcom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wilcorn, near Urbana. Mr. and Mrs. J. Edgar Brown. Frederick, left Tuesday to spend the winter in Florida. Mrs. Brown is a sister of Mrs. J. Albert Nice, Mt. Airy. Miss Maralee Atkinson, a student in nursing at University Hospital, Baltimore, spent the week-end at her home here. Among The Sick Little Miss -Dorinda L. Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loy W. Davis, 408 Military Road, has been confined to her bed with tonsilitis. Timmy Sponseller, small son of Dr. and Mrs. Edwin H. Sponseller, 132 West Third street, who has been ill for several days is improving. Mrs. H. B. Robbins, of Middletown, who recently underwent surgery at the St. James Hospital in Hornel, N. Y., was able to leave the hospital on Sunday, November 18, and is now convalescing at the home of her brother and sister-in- law. Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Richmond, of Whitesville, New York. Miss Reba Bonn, Libertytown. who underwent an appendectomy at the Frederick Memorial Hospital on Thanksgiving Day is reported progressing satisfactorily. Dr. Henry Schor. near Mt. Airy, was removed from his home to the Maryland General Hospital on Saturday evening. Removal was in the ambulance of C. M. Waltz. Mrs. Atlee Horine, Burkittsville, was admitted to Frederick Memorial Hospital on Sunday for treatment. Mrs. Bessie Buckingham, Mt. Airy, remains quite ill at University Hospital, Baltimore. - Eugene Mulllnix, Mt. Airy is a patient at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, where he will undergo an operation for an eye ailment. William Snyder. retired Mt. Airy druggist, returned to his % home from a Baltimore hospital where he had been undergoing treatment.
