As Henry Jones in "Rosenthal and Jones," the half-hour comedy to be seen on the "Comdey Special" Saturday at 5 p.m. Kirby co-stars with Ned Glass and admits the first few days of rehearsals seemed strange to him. "When I'd find myself leaving a scene as the same character I started with, I thought there must be something wrong," Kirby chuckles. "I started checking my script to see if there were some pages missing. It took about three days before I really got adjusted to the fact I could play just one part all the way through. But once I realized it was true, man it was beautiful! "This is a piece of cake, man," Kirby continues. "I mean, it's like a vacation, playing just one role, using just one voice, one wardrobe, one point of view. "After working the way I have for twenty-five years, this feels like stealing my pay. Don't get me wrong," he cautions. "I'm not knocking the impressions business, it's been mighty good to me, and I don't intend to give it up. But being just Henry Jones is a beautiful change of pace.
