June 17, 1950. DECATUR HERALD CLASSIFIED ADS 13 Lake County Polio Antioch, June 16 (AP)-Teresa Walters, 3-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad W. Walters of nearby Little Silver lake, today became Lake county's first polio victim of 1950.

She was taken to St. Therese hospital in Waukegan.
